I just listened to Sanford on C-Span, (he was speaking at a radio station), & that guy is about the most arrogant asshole Republican I have seen. His ego simply will not let him resign. The tea party wasn't a demonstration against Obama, it was a demonstration against his some of his policies and heavy spending. The U.S. has already gone down the road of large spending and govt. planned benefits and it didn't work. Republicans just don't want to see it happen again.
