there is no such thing as 0% chance of ever getting it again. If you are a woman, even without breasts, you cans till get BC again. SOme of what she says is just inaccurate. I hope that you all know that double mastectomy does not mean you are safe. Conservation is okay too. I hope she feels happy with her decision but going for the bilat for stage zero (which means microscopic cells) is really overkill. But to each her own choice and path.

My Grandma had breast cancer, went through radiation etc. but now it is slowly moving through her bones and she will eventually die from it. Make sure you get the nutrients that are necessary in order for laetrile to work:
1) zinc (which is the transport mechanism for laetrile),
2) Vitamin C (build up to 6 grams a day),
3) manganese,
4) magnesium,
5) selenium,
6) Vitamins B6, B9 and B12,
7) Vitamin A,
8) Vitamin E (at least 2,000 I.U.)

have you had cancer? have you seen anyone cured from cancer with fruits and vegetables? Many ppl are alive for years, and live with cancer bcs of drugs, not beets. AND FYI, you don't know EVERY medical plan. every doctor is different. My doctor was fantastic about giving me a healthy diet. But the funny thing is, I already had one. there is no good reason why ppl get cancer--they didn't give it to themselves for not eating broccoli. you are stupid.

@butterfli78 The reason more people are dying from cancer is simple. Cancer is a disease of older age and people are living much longer. We have DOUBLED the life expectancy since the 1800. And it's continuing to go UP every year in spite of our crappy diet.It's not true that the Cancer Society barely mentions anything about the diet.Go to their web site there's a entire section on diet and cancer prevention along with other suggestions such as exercise etc.

there is no such thing as 0% chance of ever getting it again. If you are a woman, even without breasts, you cans till get BC again. SOme of what she says is just inaccurate. I hope that you all know that double mastectomy does not mean you are safe. Conservation is okay too. I hope she feels happy with her decision but going for the bilat for stage zero (which means microscopic cells) is really overkill. But to each her own choice and path.

Well, it is not okay to keep cutting people removing body parts just like that- eat right, check your emotional health and do some mindwork first!!!
Wanda has a lot of responsibility as a public figure and she probably made this decision without proper information. Breast cancer is due to high bad estrogens combined with low testosterone which can be rectified by a nutritional protocol!!! Furthermore, see epigenetics, your genes/ family medical history does cause cancer, the environment does!

Christina Applegate did the same thing. I wouldn't mind having no boobs but not under those conditions. My Grandma had breast cancer, went through radiation etc. but now it is slowly moving through her bones and she will eventually die from it. She takes a lot of morphine and acts doped up because of it.

my mother was stage 1 and she had both of her breast removed, its so hard for her to get shirts that fit her, but shes been cancer free for about 3 years, she has tattoo nipples and cancer does not run in our family. plus my mother didnt have the cancer jean.

I think her speaking openly about cancer and mastectomy, not hiding it and not being ashamed will help a lot of people deal with it better. It's a brave thing to do.
She sets a great example with her humour and cool attitude, and putting her health first. I think she's beautiful and amazing.
