  • Hamburgers healthy? ... Oh america you make me slap my knee...

  • That is it? Just the pattie, cheese and a small bit of lettuce in a white buns? This burger could be more delcious and VERY healthy if he could only extend a bit more into it, like more lettuce, shredded carrots, purple onions, beetroots and green peppers. Voila!

  • @sparkl1nwat3r Shredded carrots!?...beetroot?!? Last time I checked I ordered a burger, not a salad.

  • Heck we are going to die some day anyway. Wish I had a private jet that I can fly to Ted's/

  • @raficsulejmanovic If you have a private jet, instead of flying to Ted's why not have Ted's deliver to your private jet? I mean...after all for one to own a private jet, you got to be massively rich.

  • Attributing anything healthy to this burger is a hypocrisy better left unsaid. The vast slab of cheese they put on negates any healthful benefit gained by steaming. I've had a few at Ted's, and while the burgers are fine, the fact that they put them on a kaiser roll kills it for me. Too much bread!

  • no shit you will lose weight if you dont eat carbs, no matter how much fat your eating your body has to get carbs, and the only source is to burn fat.

  • @en3rgieboy Actually, you r body will also starting burning lean muscle tissue as well. A very dangerous thing to do.

  • oh I'd love some steamed hams, something from upstate new york in albony, anoyne get the simpsons reference?

  • @Vlaxerman343 Absolutely. 22 Short Films Short Films about Springfield. I always thought "steamed hams" sounded delicious! Haha!

  • I've had steamed cheesburgers alot of times and Ted's in no better. I feel you people never have had many steamed cheesburgers. Ted's isn't that great. It's ok.

  • I've known about Ted's for years but never went there... until yesterday...

I was not disappointed. It was a very tasty burger. Juicy & cheesy on a great roll, it tasted like a home-made burger. The homefries were awesome too! I would defintely put it in my top five burger places to go along with Max Burger, Plan B and Five Guys.

  • I did not care for these burgers. It was cool to try it but the meat was extremely dry and the cheese was overwhelming.

  • checked out this place over 4th of July weekend when I was tending to some stuff a couple towns over, great burger, will def. be going back when im in the area...

  • @LordSwift360 im so jealous, western guy gets everything they saw on tv.. but the asian guy just can look and say "thats look damn delicous" and then end up buying 1 dolar burger.. with no cheese.. :'(

  • @kimie126 Aww, poor thing.

  • too much cow =(

  • That's the Place I want to go, its one of my life wishes to try Ted's Steamed Cheeseburgers :) and gosh they look excellent

  • good old teds god bless you ted!

  • perfect example of different strokes, i'd love to try this burger some day

  • What kind of steamer does he use?

  • looks like a custom built one, steams pretty powerful. not like the steam for chinese dumplings.

  • Guy is a cool dude. I like his new gameshow Minute To Win It. There is a cool facebook page on it as well

  • its white cheddar cheese i know it because of the color

  • Damn you're smart!

  • luv it ... i wanna have a Restaurant :P

  • I don't think people just eat steamed burgers because they're 'healthy.' My friend was a waiter, and would throw burgers in to steam them for us sometimes just for the hell of it. It makes a good burger. Having nothing to do with health, as it was never our concern.

  • I live a couple of miles from this place.. they're delicious for sure.

  • wow they try so hard in america to friggin lose weight..god friggin steamed burgers?...i got an idea for the you....HOW BOUT NOT EATING SO MUCH..then you can eat a real burger and not explode

  • Ignorance is bliss.

  • nice

  • no your idiot they are for the cheesburgers!

  • can i have some hamburger with this bread?

  • Comment removed

  • steamed overcooked beef... yuk!!!

  • mine is kinda the same, when i'm not BBQ in the summer, instead of putting oil in the pan i put a thin layer of water depending on the size of the burger, throw a lid on top of the pan and cook on high for about 5-7 mins and the fat bubbles out, then i turn the pan on low heat, empty the water and fat out of the pan and throw the burger back down and let it cook in the remaining fat and water thats soaked into the burger meat.

  • I think that is awesome and they look delicious!

  • AWESOME! I WANT ONE!

  • I don't like the melted gooey cheese so I get mine without it. Great burger still. Louie's is still the best though.

  • yeah tropic i agree 100%. also the bun is to huge and overpowers the small burger. Loui's has been doing it rigght for 100+ years.

  • Ted's is the BEST!!!! Grew up eating Ted's and I hope to return soon

  • That thing looks great. I'm definitely visiting them some time in the future.

  • Looks great.

The key thing here, isn't steaming or grilling, it's the fact that he has really good quality, fresh ingredients.

  • fuck this..if im eating a burger i wanna enjoy it. i'll eat a salad if i wanna be healthy.

  • fucking a. when it eat a cheesburger; which is just ever so often, i want a fatty greasy cheeseburger that drips down my arm. The unhealthier it is the better it's going to taste.

  • true lmao

  • @firethrower99

I LOVE cheeseburgers. I really enjoy really fatty and unhealthy ones as well, but these are also amazing.

  • @firethower99 Normally agree with you on that one dude, but steam hamburgers are fucking amazing!

  • The meat to cheese ratio is horrible.

Too much cheese can be a bad thing.

  • yummy

  • I actually survived on these for a year.

  • the way that cheese just slips and oozes off the tray onto the bun is amazing!

  • I actually work here and they are amazing! If you ever go here, you are lucky because omg awesome haha

  • watch heston blumenthal's "in search of perfection" episode on burgers. the place where it originated in america actually uses cheese spread and plain toasted white bread.

  • louis lunch

  • this is one of the restaurants all around America that i wanna go to. plus, ITS HEALTHY!!!

  • It looks delicious. One day I will go to Ted's and eat 7 hamburgers.

  • I would like you to join me. Where do live? I can pick you up on the way.

  • Rocking

  • Ted's does make the best Steamed Cheese Burgers ..

  • probably the only one that makes it. probably

  • The melted cheese looks so delicious on it. Looks pretty good to me.

  • I think it would be cool to make super thin burgers with ingredients between each patty and make like a 10 stack. I mean like really thin patty's.

Those steamed burgers must be pretty amazing.

  • i heard the ghetto burgers the best

  • oops, not on purpose. youtube has these types of glitches.... But i wont contest that a steamed burger is much healthier..

  • why did you say that 4 times?
