  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I dont get how those are butterflies

  • have you considered making Hydrangea? :)

  • @azulon435 If I could get permission from Fujimoto, I will!

  • where can you get the origami paper?

  • @lilKiimmie The patterned paper used in the video can be downloaded from my website and printed out. See the -More Info- for the link.

  • youre amazing but i cannnot do it im confused.

  • Wow, truly beautiful! I seem to always have trouble collapsing, though....but that's my problem! Thanks for the help -OrigamiUSA

  • wow, that's the most massive and longer pre-creasing ever created!!!

  • i love the music..who is it?

  • It's Ismael Quiñones song "Never Again", some great bass guitar playing. His MySpace page is /thebassistofsolitude nickname BassIQ.

  • Yes, I know, hehe

I'm a bit of an idiot...got confused when you said book, thinking he'd done a whole book full of miniature models. Not just his 'miniature book', lol

  • Oh, I didn't know he had a miniature book as well! Must go see if I can find it. Do you know the exact title? Do you have any videos up from that book? I would LOVE to see/do them :)

    Thanks again,

    Sass

  • I see you found it ;-)

It's a great model! But nobody can make just one!

  • Mari, thank you so much! This is perhaps the clearest, most well thought out/timed origami video I've even seen. Its is also the most complicated (step wise) piece I've ever tried. I'm grateful to you and proud to say, I managed first time, and it's just perfect and beautiful. Although about 2ins smaller than yours, because my square only came out to about 6in. I'll have to figure out what settings to use to get the full 8in square on my printer paper. Good thing I'm a miniature fanatic ;)

  • Thanks, I'm glad you liked the video. I guess you liked Brill's miniature book too!

  • What is the size of the paper? Is it A4?

  • The model is made from square paper. In the video I used a pattern printed out on 8 1/2 x 11 inch copy paper, and then cut to 8 1/2 inch square.

The patterned paper should fit when printed on A4 paper. You can then cut it into a 21 cm square.

  • hey your the same persone that made the buterfly ball i love your work

  • wow !

    thats so pretty !

where do you get the paper ? do you just cut other pieces of pape and glue it on ?

or are there sheets already like that ?

    great video :]

  • Thanks! You can download the patterned paper from the Marigami website.

  • And again, Marigami does´nt dissapoint me. Excelent music, practical instructions, slow, patient, and really good looking origami.

    I made myself one red.

    5*, and my favs.

  • ...several done

  • This is my next proyect in origami, but I can´t see very well the creases of the 64 sqares....

  • can i have yours?

  • Ah, don't give up!

  • Oh, okay, I just saw the music credit on the end, sorry. :)

  • btw, is this your husband's music? Sounds awesome!

  • No, this music is by Ismael (BassIQ). I traded him a bass guitar desktop wallpaper with the Alien (movie) for it. If you're into the bass, check the link on my channel for dozens of free wallpapers that you can download.

  • That's pretty neat. I've been wanting to try some tessellations!

  • Thank you!!:D:D

    appreciate it a lot!:D

  • Thanks so much for this video tutorial! I finally managed to fold this!
