  • Hey...why are they called "triplets" when there are clearly FOUR drum hits? (My former drummer called them "duh-lunts" because, to him, that's what they sounded like.)

  • Comment removed

  • Sweet!!!

  • cool kit but dont like the way drums are tuned

  • Hold the sticks in the first joints of your index fingers. You will have more control over the stick, and you won't need the tape anymore. Honest.

  • john bonham was a great drummer, but honestly ive never been impressed with the sound of his drums.

  • 26" bass drum?

  • WOW, great drummer. But seriously bro you need to take tuning lessons. Those drums sound terrible. Been playing for 30 years. Tuning is as much of an art as playing.

  • @thompnet360 Well thanks for watching. I think they sound great. Any drum set is going to sound bad with a camera's tiny little mic picking up these huge cannon sounds. I always get comments about how I can't tune my drums. If you would like to hear what they really sound like in a studio with real mics, check out my latest video. I think you will notice a big big difference. I haven't changed a thing on them at all. It's they way Bonham wanted them tune. JOEDRUMS2112

  • Is that a vistalite?

  • @tmlproductions Yes it's the Ludwig Amber Vistalites just like the ones from Led Zeppelin that John Bonham used. The Cymbals are all PAISTE. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112.

  • I can do that thing that you start off with at 2.20 but is it the same pattern when you speed it up or are you doubling up the bass drum or are you changing it to triplets.

It sounds awesome at fast tempo if it is same as at the start of groove.

  • @lost4ausername Thanks for all the nice comments. When I speed it up, it's the same pattern. It takes a lot of practice to get it. So don't give up. THanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • Can you detail the cymbals for us? Sizes, model, etc.?

  • @edicius00 Yea, the cymbals are all PAISTE 2002 series. Ride-24" Hi-hats-15" Sound Edge Crashes-16", 18", 20" These are what John Bonham would have used around 1974-76. They were used in the movie, "Song Remains The Same." Check it out sometime. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 They are probably the nicest sounding cymbals ever made and probably why they still make them to this day. I'd swap my Zildjians for 2002's anyday. I stlll have an 18" 2002 crash from 20 years ago that is cracked to shit but still produces an interesting sound. Might get it cut down to a 16" one of these days.

BTW is that a Reverand Al ride.

  • fills are cool - drums sound like shit

  • @needle11 They sound like that because they don't have mics on them, those drums sounds heavenly when you are recording them properly :)

  • Good stuff.. Quick suggestion though.. U should start really slow and say, like, "R L R FOOT FOOT RRLL etc etc" .. That would help tremendously.. Still good vid though thx... :)

  • @nckey42 i READ a trancription before or watch a video of this...i think the correct way is only RLR FOOT RLR FOOR etc etc

  • bonham NEVER used evans heads

  • this was so helpful!

  • sounds like laser gun._.

  • Nicely done. Don't forget however, in your faster triplets to break into crossovers rather than just playing off the tom and side until ending.

  • Hi Joe! Nice drumfills. I'm a total freak of Nicko Mcbrain and most of the fills he does are influenced by Bonham. Your triplets part around 2:59-3:00 are snare, tom, floor and bass drum. Is it really done like this or is it supposed to be snare, bass drum, tom and floor?? Think about that my friend....

  • Wat remo drum heads r on ur toms

  • @bakerfam1000 Well the heads that I chose for the Led Zeppelin kit is what John Bonham picked out for his own kit. The top of the Tom heads are the CS Black Dot by REMO. The bottom of the Toms are Clear Ambassadors. The Snare head is a REMO Coated Emperor on top and a Clear Ambassador on the bottom. The Bass drum has a REMO CS Black Dot on the batter side. Then the front has the LOGO LUDWIG and I put the 3 black rings on the front of the head. Hope that helps. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 john bonham used evans drumheads

  • @SK8ERTEEN98 No he always used REMO Emperor and Ambassador heads.

    JOEDRUMS2112

  • Great teaching and drumming to. Very helpful video

  • i watched this video every day for a week

  • idk if its the camera your recording with. but the drums sound horrible

  • @monkeyturd15 I know everyone says that about this video. It was the camera picking up all the loud sound of the kit. I have to record the drums with real mics and it picks up way better. I will send you a link to a recorded video of this set. Tell me what you think OK?

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 dude...i've been running up and down my basement stairs practicing these!!! i've got to get a computer in my basement!!! THANKS FOR POSTING THESE!!!

  • @maciverandy Thanks for watching them. Glad I could help. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • @maciverandy just buy a cheap flip video camera and record them. that's what i do and it works great. you can even connect it to a tv if you want to. a guy with the name macgiver should have figured that out ;p

  • @ultrakool i'll make a video camera out of ducttape and a drumset out of my t-shirt and that should be macgyver enough

  • @maciverandy bitchin'

  • id just love to own a drumset like this!

  • @Goku313 I hope one day you will own a kit like this. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • hey thanks man that's a bunch of helpful stuff!

  • immigrant pattern is WRONG! missing a ghost bass drum beat.

  • @wyzyrddrummer Sorry, I verified it with Jason Bonham. He told me that I'm doing it right. Just like his dad did it. Plus it's in all the drum books like that on the market. Check them out sometime. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • as i live and breathe 2:13

  • Man, look at those beautiful PAiSTE's.

As of now, I've only got a 2002 20" Medium Crash, but I'm working on getting some 15" Sound-Edge's :)

  • @AfroMan1171 Thanks for watching. Man you are gonna love the Hi-hats when you get them. They are the best sounding by far. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • That was way cool!

  • AWESOME!!!!!! hey do u mind if i ask u how much were the EXACT BONHAM DRUMS?

  • @ledzeppelin4304 The Bonham kit that I have was bought from a friend. He sold it to me for $1700 with SKB hard shell cases. If you bought it brand new with cymbals and stands they usually go for $5000. I always wanted a kit like this since I was little. A guy from New York saw my kit on YOUTUBE & wanted to buy it from me. I said no. So he found another kit and paid for me to come to New York to set up and tune it for him. He paid me $1000 to do it. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 WOW . AHA THANKS MAN. last question were cann i get buy them?

  • Joe, I did not see it but perhaps did you ever try his fill where he goes L L (snare) R (floor) and 2 on the bass(buh bum) similar to the snare, tom, floor, bass fill... but most of the sound comes from the bass. "da da doo buh bum.." Doug

  • @beeterolds Yea I've seen something to that effect on one of his live solos somewhere. I think everyone should learn all the different variations of fills that Bonham did. The more you know, the better you'll be. Thanks Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • woooohhh in my time of dying!!

  • Hi Joe... Do you have a paiste 2002 24"ride. 18" crash. 16"crash. HH 15"?

  • @se3mx5 Yes I have all the Cymbals the same as Bonham did with the Vistalite kit. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 ludwig speed king?

  • @joeyjuniorjunior Yes it is. What Bonham set would not be complete without one. : ) Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 I LOVE THE VISTA LITE KIT MAN! Is that a Casio calculator watch your wearing?

  • @bramschreiber Good eye my man. Yes it's my favorite Casio Calculator Watch. I got it at Meijer for $20. What a deal. It's my favorite watch, besides my iPod nano watch. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • cool... loose your kick!

  • Hey Joe, where did you get your Tom stand? Or is it just a snare stand? And where is a good place to get one? Thanks

  • @Sheeleykk its just a snare stand, get one off of musiciansfriend or whatever music store is near you

  • @Ankylophobia Well the rack tom is sitting on just a snare stand. I preferred this way only because I didn't want to drill holes in my bass and tom to mount the tom arm and brackets. You can do that to, but I just decided to do that way. You can get the Ludwig snare stand on line. It's the 900 series snare stand to be exact. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • Nice video! I like watching video's that are simplified (playing slow) so everyone that would watch can have a full understanding of what is being played. Thanks for the upload. AND from what I see (youtube name) Your a RUSH fan aren't you? Very good taste in music.

  • nice drumming!

  • can you show how he does his rolls, because he blends a double stroke and single stroke like a RLLRLRLRLRLRLR like in the bridge to Whole Lotta Love. Thats the best example.

  • @nofxrulez1 When you mean Rolls do you mean the snare drum rolls? Are rolls around the kit with his bass? Explain to me a little more. Thanks : )

    JOEDRUMS2112

  • Nice vid, i think Bonham would be proud :)

  • nice kit fella! need to save up for paiste 2002 16" crashes..

  • Excellent demo, sound, and camera angle.

  • There's no double hits on the bass drum.

  • Really brilliant stuff, thanks Joe! Your kit looks sensational which matches your skills. cheers mate.

  • He can you tell me all the sizes of your cymbals in this vid ? :)

  • @RubenVW95 All the cymbals in this video are PAISTE 2002. The ride is a 24", the crashes are 18", 16", the hats are 15". Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 ooh god thankyou you have a 16 on the left

i have a 16 on my left 14" hi hats ( medium) and a 18 " crash on my left and i wanted to get a 24 " ride but i tought that a 24 and a 16 would sound not very good but you have them so imma gonna buy a 24 yes !!!! :)

  • what resonant heads are you using?

  • @jigy132 The bottom heads are REMO Ambassador Clears. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • Joe, not trying to be the bad guy, but you're not doing that fill correct on Stairway. I posted a clip, you can "hear" what I'm doing and it matches Bonzo exactly. Nice kit ya have there my friend!

  • @TheSteveartist I know your not a bad guy at all. I like constructive criticism, only thing it's the way part of the fill is done in the Zeppelin Drum Book. Check it out sometime you might be surprised. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 Well Joe, unfortunately the book is wrong....nothing worse than a book teaching you wrong, huh? Just goes to show you don't believe everything you read!!! lol If I can get my video camera to cooperate I'll post a vid to show you guys how to do that lick! lol

  • it helps!!!!!!!!

  • You're clearly a really good drummer, but I'm pretty sure you're playing that Stairway fill incorrectly in this video. There's only one kick stroke in between each triplet, and the very last time you hit the floor tom, you should actually be hitting the snare drum and accenting it instead. Just saying, cheers!

  • can you tell me where i can buy these remo cs black dots i can't find them ??

  • @RubenVW95 You can find them online at MUSCIANSFRIEND. Hope that helps. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • Im sure this kit will sound very great miced up! But tbh, the snare and toms sound brilliant. But the bass drum is just quite not too good sounding.

  • dear joedrums,

i was wondering if you used the "heel toe" technique on your right foot. if so, how can you do that with tennis shoes? i cant wear shoes to do it.

  • @coolscape6 Everyone is different in the feel that they get on the pedal. You just have to use your best judgment on what feels comfortable to you. I've played with tennis shoes for 30 years. I've tried to play barefoot, but it just left me in pain. Another way is just wearing socks. Hope that helps. Keep Rockin' JEODRUMS2112

  • What cowbell are you using?

  • @Spydr2000 It's a Chrome Ludwig Cowbell. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • You rock! what kind of drum have you got? Thanks!

  • @TheBastion95 Well this is the Bonham Amber Vistalite Reissue Kit by LUDWIG. The cymbals are PAISTE 2002 series. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • what drum sticks are this?

  • @uri172 They are the wood tip 2B's from Vic Firth. I have PRO-Mark Blue Stick Tape for grip. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • Hey bro! great video, grat sound! What ride is that? Size? Thanks!!!

  • @fedecastrogiovanni Thanks for watching. That is the PAISTE 2002 24" Ride. Bonham's signature sound from Zeppelin. It basically rules!!!! Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 wow! I thought that it was 24! Grat sound! Thanks for response

  • my bass drum pedal isnt really smooth and when i try to do faster rythms with my pedal its really hard to do that. what should i do.

  • @jamirosmajicrocks What kind of pedal do you have? If it's a cheap one, try getting a Gibraltar pedal, they cost less and it's quality hardware. Check them out sometime. JOEDRUMS2112

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 i have a pearl pedal and its quite big and heavy.

  • @jamirosmajicrocks I thought that you maybe had something that was too old and bulky. Try out some pedals from the Gibraltar line at your local store. If your money is tight, this is a great solution. I do not work or nor am I a spokesperson for Gibraltar, I just use the stuff where I teach and it's been very trust worthy and holds up over the years. Great Stuff. JOEDRUMS2112

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 thanks!

  • that ludwig is gorgeous! sounds amazing as well! is that a 26" x 16" kick?

  • @ALEXXvsZOMBIES Thanks for nice comment. Well actually it's a 26"x14". Small one way, large the other. Hahaha. Thanks for watching. I have a lot of other vids with the Vistalite kit. Check them out. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 yup I totally realized it was a 26" x 14" right after i sent the message haha. Keep rockin that kit!

  • oh man you hit the money shot then man great videos by the way

  • @superredneck71 Hey thanks for stopping by. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • where did you get your set from?

  • @superredneck71 A buddy of mine bought for a funk band that he was in, unfortunately it was too loud and way too boomy sounding for the band, so he sold it to me for $1700 with hard shell SKB drum cases. The cases alone go about $650, so I got the kit for about $1000, the kit goes for $5000 on the net. I think I made out pretty good. : ) Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • im pretty sure about this but ill ask any way.... it that one of those john bonham ludwig vistalite kits? either way beautiful kit bro.

  • @K1llerSpartanv9 Yes it's the John Bonham Reissue Kit from Ludwig. Thanks for the compliment and for watching as well. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • @ Irfeas230: Joe is right... you should be able to start w/R, L, or kick, dpending on where you need to fit it in, If you just learn it one way, you're limiting yourself. Plus, it's good independence exercise.

  • Great job on "In my time of dying"

That ones a tricky one, it also helps me to since I was having trouble with that one.

  • Hey man great sound \m/ I was wondering what kind of cymbals you used? Im looking for good cymbals on a budget, any you recomend? Thanks

  • at 2:35 i think you got it wrong because at moby dick in royal albert hall when he does that fill he goes FLR not RLF

  • @orfeas230 Close enough. I think everyone should learn it both ways. It just makes you a better drummer all around. Thanks for watching, Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS

  • joe how did you mount your camera???!!

  • @astrella I have a Hercules Mic Stand and a camera clip from another camera tripod. I use the clip from the camera stand and slid it into the mic claw with the camera attached. The Hercules stand has a built-in boom stand. It can raise up and go as high as the ceiling. Hope that helps Keep Rockin' Thanks for watching. JOEDRUMS

  • Hi. Just one question, if start\lead with your left hand? will sound different and you can use only one hit on the bass drum...

  • @Equeporquenao Starting with your left hand will change the way you sound and the way you play fills and patterns. As for the bass drum hitting one hit, you can do that as well or you can play many bass drums. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS

  • man, im digging the ludwig orange drumset like bonhams

  • cool but, and i hate to say it, you gotta work on the wanton song.

  • 2:14 ; You know those 'Triplets' are Quads, right?

  • @dichotomism Well technically yes, but They are grouped in fours but, musically written out it's three 16th note triplets with on extra note on the bass being an 8th note. So that why you see me hitting the four drums. Good Questions though. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 Hey Joe I thought those were 32nd note triplets like a 16th note triplet played as a single stroke four not as a sextuplet as in 1 trip let and but because its written in 32nd notes it gets that extra bass kick as in 1 trip let bass bass so the note value adds up ? yes ? no ? im nuts right?

  • @SOUTHPAW731 Well that's a good assumption, but every Zeppelin Drum Book on the market that I've seen calls them 16th note triplets. So I'm just calling them as they write them. If they were 32nd note triplets they would play a lot faster than that. Thanks for the info and for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS

  • @SOUTHPAW731 well your my "go to guy" so i ll go with that. my reading is a lil weak and takes some lookin at for me. I had a peak at the "mothership" version so i was looking at a group snare , TT, Ft with 3 beams joining them so i figured 1 beam is 8th note triplet 2 is 16th and 3 is 32 but it also had 2 beams extending from that joing 2 bass drum notes then another sn ,tt ft group

  • What is your opinion of the original Ludwig Ghost pedal? I've got two and am thinking about going back to the Speed King, if not something else. I would prefer to stay with the Ludwig make as my entire kit, other than the Roto's, are Ludwig as well.

  • @trapkit1 I have a Ghost Pedal myself. I like them, but not my favorite. The spring tension is not adjustable enough to make it comfortable. Your best bet is to get a Ludwig Speed King if you want to get the feel of the Bonham foot. If the Speed King is not that big of a deal try a new pedal with new technology. Something like Pearl, DW, Gibraltar, or Axis. Some can be expensive, some are entry level and some are middle of the road. Good Luck. JOEDRUMS

  • hey man how can i play the final part of "i can't quit you baby"? royal albert hall version

  • @beatlezzeppelin I don't have the recording of that. Give me some time to research it. I will see what I can do. JOEDRUMS

  • nothing to be to u but that drumset dont sound right it is out of tune

  • @4183013 It's the way Bonham tuned his kit. It doesn't sound right because it's being recorded with the little mic on my camera. Check out some of my other vids with the vistalite kit to hear the difference. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • The only thing missing were Bonzos cross-sticking!

  • @check6ii Not a Bad Idea for an upcoming video. Thanks for the tip. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS

  • would you recommend the speedking over a pearl eliminator? not sure what to get , would love your opinion ,

    cheers

  • @BlackPantherDrummer Well the Ludwig Speed King is what Bonham used, but other than that the Pearl would probably a little bit more reliable and can take a better beating. Hope that helps.

    JOEDRUMS

  • @BlackPantherDrummer Also the eliminator you can adjust way more with the cam systems and what not, all you can adjust on the speed king is the tension and i know this because i own one and use it.

  • @MelficeElstang i ended up getting the yamaha pdf9500c. they had no eliminators left, so i tried that and its well good

  • Superb camera angle...One of the few folks on this site that seems to know and understand how to dissect Bonham's style and technique..Kudo's to you sir!

  • @trapkit1 Thanks for the nice comments, and thanks for watching. Keep Rockin'

    JOEDRUMS2112

  • Great vid, which snare do u use?

  • @ricardoieci It's the Ludwig 402 14" Chrome Snare. It has a 42 strand snare on the bottom. The Heads are the REMO Emperor Coated on Top, and a REMO Clear Ambassador on the snare side. Hope that helps. Keep Rockin' thanks for watching.

    JOEDRUMS2112

  • do you use a SpeedKing bass drum pedal

  • @paperpichu Oh yea, The Speed King is the only pedal I would play on my Bonham kits. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS

  • Another great Bonham fill breakdown user in BONZOLEUM. Excellent explanation of Moby Dick ( live version ) patterns.

  • awesome i've got that same jinglering lol

  • just thank you this really a koooooooool thing

  • Hey Joe didnt you have a whole "Stairway" vid ? wheres it at ? Thanks Rick

  • @SOUTHPAW731 Go to VIMEO DOT COM and type in the search JOEDRUMS. Then you can pull it up. Thanks for watching.

    Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 ah ha Thanks Joe

  • Hi Joe, Was wondering if you have heard Heartbreaker on the "how the west was won"(CD)? At 2:02 right before the guitar break, at first had no idea even after listening to it a million times but now think it may be the same thing you do in this video at 2:18 but just alot faster 6-7 times? Also on same cd at the very end of black dog his ending really is really smooth- got any ideas on what he was doing? In Whole lotta love at the end of "Hello Mary Lou" ? Appreciate your opinion!

  • i think its really cool that you used the vintage kit with the speed king bass pedal like bonham used

  • Are those the 2002s or Giant Beat?

  • @LittleAngus1 Those are PAISTE 2002 Series Cymbals. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS

  • Hey I have watched alot of your videos especially on your old channel, but I have a small problem. I watched the video and saw the stairway to heaven fill and the way I learned it is from the Led Zeppelin Mothership book and I'm sure you have it but look at the way they transcribed it. It isn't much different than yours but definately different have a look and let me know your input when you can. Thanks and of course keep rockin man!

  • @dupal00p Yea I know exactly what you are talking about. I have two other Led Zeppelin drum books and the one I followed for the video is the Bill Wheeler/Warner Brothers book. It has many things different in each book. I guess it all depends on who wrote it and what they think they hear. The only person that could play it the way it was originally is Bonham. If the book says it one way or another, I would just go with what works for me. Or You. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' : )

  • I know this has nothing to do with the drumming, but could you possibly show how you got that camera angle so well? What you use to get it above like that?

  • @TheDirectorofFoo I will have to do a video on the whole topic of how I make a video ok?M Thanks for watching. JOEDRUMS

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 Thanks a bunch!

  • whats the best way to practice using the bass on the last note of the triplet ? When i do it my foot gets out of time.

  • @xxkmanxx Doing shuffle rhythms with the bass drum or drums. I find if you practice with your foot in a pattern with the rest of the kit, it will be easier to get your foot going. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS

  • i'm having trouble with the ocean. i know the complex time signature and basic groove to that part but the transition and the bass work on the 4/4 parts is giving me a hard time. you used to have an excellent video where it was you playing but your drum mics turned off. sure wish copy rights were not an issue. can you do some pieces to it for me? the camera above like this is a HUGE help. Thanks Joe. Thanks, Joe

  • @dontaskmewhatithink

    Well the first measure is in 4/4 time and the second measure is in 7/8. So when you count it, it should count 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 1 2 3 4 5 6 7

    JOEDRUMS

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 Hey Joe , thanks for all the good info. From this top view of your kit it looks like your 12x15 is up higher & more to the right than I can position my 12 x14 to. Was wondering if your snare stands are both the same height? I have a 2008 green sparkle classic maple zep kit I bought new with the 900 series hardware. FYI paid close to $2600 new. Ludwigs catalog shows a high & a low one. Any suggestions? KEEP ROCKIN JOE!

  • 5:29

  • What technique do you use on the bass pedal? Heel toe? Just wondering what you find is the easiest way to do the triplets.

  • I use a combination of both. When I do the Bonham Stuff, it's mostly heel up. I use heel down when I need control, and less power.

    JOEDRUMS

  • Joe, I need a set for a beginner but I still want good quality for a cheap price but still something with a big sound . . . Can u PLEASE help me?

  • WHat style of music do you want to play, or do you need allround, kit since your just starting, for what its worth, i play Blues/R&R, started with a Tama Swingstar, Cheap kit, but i liked the sound.

  • I was wondering how you adjust your speed king pedal. I've never been able to set the adjustment screws just right to get the right amount of recoil vs. looseness of the pedal. Any recomendations?

  • Well you really have to play with it. They way I did it was I loosened both springs all the way and then started there. I then started tightened each lug the same amount each time till I felt like the desire bounce from the beater against the head. I don't remember how many times I turned it, but it may have been about 4 or 5 half turns. Hope that helps.
