i've always preferred xbox over ps..but i just got a ps3 slim and bought this game..HO..LY..SHIT..of any fps i've played this is probably the first game that really makes you feel immersed in a firefight..this is definitely the halo killer we've all waited for..BUY IT!!!

from what I understand is it is going to be singleplayer only like CoD4.

@jblack31981 ...Actually they haven't revealed everything yet. At this point, they are only Officially saying online multi-player (probably 32 player) and obviously the single player!

But: "A recent hands on preview posted by PlayStation World UK editor Ian Dean has hinted that Guerilla Games upcoming shooter Killzone 2 will feature four-player campaign co-op."

So it's comfirmed Co-Op, just no details were revealed anywhere yet! :D

Killzone 2 will have TWO-PLAYER split screen BUT i wont be available it will come in the form of an update/patch

there is going to be singleplayer and 32 competitive online mode. supposedly there will be a later down loadable patch that will support online co-op but that's still speculation right now.

Sony was going to release KZ 2 in Nov/Dec! But 2many games & don't want to step on Resistance 2's sales. So it'll now release in Jan/Feb of 2009. It'll be the 1st game on PS3 to run Mt Evans (DX10 features). This game is being developed on a Budget that is comparable to MGS4 and GTA4 (which was in the neighborhood of $100 Million! ...Making $30-40 Million Games look cheap! LOLz ...GAMES Have now eclipsed Movies in Cost, but will most likely still make profits. Unlike films these days! ;)
