Don't misunderstand me, I've got a great deal of respect to the man for having the ability to reconsider his opinions, and change them, but if his daughter wasn't gay, he wouldn't have supported gay marriage.
He changed his position only because it personally affected him - not because it was right, or moral, or legal, but only because he now had a stake in the outcome. I find that wrong - I'm an atheist, but I believe in freedom of religion, despite not being personally affected by it.

As for legal same-sex marriage in Canada, this was pushed onto the nation by a so-called "caltholic" prime minister and for what? Votes? I think many gays "act out" at these events because they feel alienated. Making gay mainstream and accepted eliminates the need for those displays.

I could except that the myth was intended to be symbolic. However in the following chapters it presents the geneology from Adam to Noah (which is impossible to draw symbolic meaning from). It also introduces Cain & Seth's wives who are offered no explination for thier origin. I haven't lied once & your answer was a fucking cop out!
