I've never gone to church before, but this week I've asked my mom to help me look for one! At church tonight the message was that as a follower a christ in this world we will contantly be broken down by christ and its a good thing and it made me flashback to all the times recently where i felt broken and wept. But now i see that god is molding me into the image of his son day by day. Its incredible how he does it.

I've never gone to church before, but this week I've asked my mom to help me look for one! It will be nice to be face to face with people with the same feeling of God in them instead of the people at school!

Secondly, I don't set the standard for who gets to heaven or hell, God does in His word! And it not determined on your descendance because God created all the diversity in humankind. God's standard is to be holy as He is holy! You have to be perfectly rightious to be in the presence of God. In all history only one man accomplished this, Jesus Christ!

He became cursed when He died on the cross and He satisfied the wrath of God (God's rightousness towards our sinfulness) so that we could have everlasting life, even though we don't deserve it. Anyone who recieves Him and believes in His name has been given the privilige to become children of God. (John1:12) That's why I'm not ashamed of the gospel! :)

I said that the fault of going to Hell belongs to us, not to God, and definitely not that we deserve some type of glory. And by your definition yes, He would be justified to send us all to Hell for our rebellion, but He would be far from loving to do so. A loving God is the judge who passes sentence on the criminal, then takes the sentence in the criminals stead.

Amen! I am a believer in CHirst. I always have a hard time speaking about Christ to others. But this song, this very song gives me strength and reminds that i should never stand down, or ever be ashamed. People now adays just dont want to listen. But it is our duties as Believers in Christ to spread the word...Brothers and sisters please pray for me that i may continue in the Lord's ways. NEVER BE ASHAMED of Christ.
