  • crap shot!

  • miss that target....try again.....hehehe

  • The Australian people were lied to about Iraq and Howard knows it. He DOES have blood on his hands. Bring our troops home. They'll never find those so called weapons of mass destruction that Bush and Israel said Iraq had.

  • All bow to the great John Howard!!! a true Australian legend!!!!

  • The fag throws like a girl!!

  • So for those who condemn the Iraqi war without knowing the facts (just to be contraversial for the sake of it), the interests of this country saved millions of lives. Yes, it is a war (and war is not peace), but if you condemn it like this idiot on Q&A, its his attitude that would have resulted in another Holocaust.

  • And I'm sorry, I just have to make this comment. The Australian contribution to Iraq to me was a symbol of ending the reign of a terrorsit dictatorship. Saddam, from the years 1973-2003 had killed 600, 000 of his own people through public executions alone. HIS OWN PEOPLE!!!! That's 70 to 125 civilian deaths per day. So for those people who blindy follow the humanitarian perspective, what the Iraqi invasion did was save the lives of millions of innocent people in the long term.

  • @sahalexx am iraqi and i agree with u 100% all iraqis was so happy to see the end of the son of bitch saddam and his regime except Some Baathists and Sunni minority Those affected from The fall of Saddam's regime Because they were a minority that supports this dictator and they are crying for his days now thanx australia and thanx john howard and long live iraq عاش العراق...

  • John Howard is a pathetic lieing bigoted little old man attempting to cling on to his shameful glory days as they all do. If it were up to him we would still be living under the white australia policy. I would have prefered it if a crazed gunman walked into the studio and blew his fucking racist, homophobic , xenophobic brains out. I would have laughed a bit harder. People like him and bush are evil fuckers and make me sick.

  • relax :P look at his face 0:36 :P

  • I love John Howard's dumb smile after the incident. What a clown.

  • Shoes on them !!

    Thumbs up please.

  • try howard bush and blair for war crimes.murders without fact.fabrication of evidence to push a war, indeed the blood is on little johnny's hands.

  • This is the legacy of john howard. All the good he achieved in office was undone by one stupid knee-jerk reaction to a crisis that simply didn't exist. There were never any WMD's, no links to al qaeda nor any threats to australia. Oh, for some independent thinking.

  • I wish someone would just kill john howard once and for all TO GET HIM OUT OF OUR FACE..then again his just an old pile of rotting racist shit .

  • If that hippy had any idea about Foreign Policy, then let him throw the shoe. But seriously, for all those who support him, get a grip on yourselves.

  • For all those retards, if it wasn't for the economic partnership between Howard and Costello, you could throw economy out the window. If you truly believe that Rudd was the one who prevented the impact of the GFC in Australia, you are a bunch of left-wing socialists. If you at least don't have the decency to accept this, you should have lived in the Soviet Union, that may very well have made you think before speaking utter crap.

  • @sahalexx if you think that it was howard and costellos partnership that saved us from the GFC you also are sadly mistaken, it was the sweeping economic reforms of the hawke-keating that set up the liberal (fascist) howard government to reap the benefits. it was a combination of all three governments since the 80's you blithering idiot. as for your comment on left wing socialists, at least they are not racist, sexist pigs like tony abbott and his band of misfits. heartless selfish liberals!!!!!!

  • @koowa2010 Well in that case, maybe you should have lived in Soviet Russia or Maoist China. Maybe you would change your mind then. The Left of politics has no sound economic management, and if I recall, It was the Howard government that cleared up the billions of dollars of defecit from the Hawke/Keating government, so don't play me like an idiot you fool. If you want to live in what is a mould of totalitarian socialism and reject the rights of individual freedom and liberty, then get out!

  • @sahalexx fuck you libs and your economy obsession. We are a fucking society first not an economy. Shove your money up your arse you materialistic greedy arseholes

  • @glittapuss And if you didn't realise by now you idiot, a society's survival is founded upon an economy. Act like the Good Samaritan here, but get your head fixed. If we didn't have economy, you wouldn't have a house, or clothes or even a little teddy bear to cuddle at night. So stop being an attention seeker and get your facts straight. Don't pretend to be the generous person. If you wanna have a sensible political debate, then say something mature, not something like utter crap.

  • @sahalexx im not saying we should live in Soviet Russia or Maoist China, that is communism, not socialism, you should get your terminologies right. Sweden is a scoialst country and they are one of the most prosperous states in the world, beating Auatralia on many things like education etc. And if the left of politics had no sound economic managment then why has the current labor government increased Australia's GDP (making it one of the best peforming economies in the world) on the back of GFC

  • @koowa2010 I accept the rise in GDP, but if you think back to the Hawke/Keating government, which is regarded as the epitome of the ALP, they left Australia in defecit of $600 billion. This was then cleared up by the Howard government. And I am not getting my terminology confused at all. I was merely pointing out the stark difference between political ideology and political movement. And if I am correct, I believe the current ALP is guided by fiscal conservatism.

  • @sahalexx the only reason that the howard government got us out of debt was because of the economic reforms of the Hawke/keating years. yes they did cause the debt but because of this they were able to streangthen the Australian economy, Howard just reaped the benefits and claimed it was all his doing.

  • @koowa2010 I don't understand what you mean. $600 million defecit from government spending is strengthening the economy. The economy was at its deepest trough in the early 90s. Thats one of the reasons Howard won a landslide victory over the ALP. And it was Howard who made our economy viable to compete with the American and Asian super-economies.

  • @sahalexx Yes the Hawke/Keating government got Australia into debt. This happened as a result of the reforms they introduced though. You always have to make a loss before you gain things. The Australian people made a premature decision, if the labor government had been realected then they would have collected the benefits of the aformentioned reforms. Howard may have made our economy vaible to compete with Asia, but he did this in his later years. Howard was afraid of Asia.

  • @sahalexx I can also say that howard did not make our economy competative with the USA. In 2005 he signed a free trade agremment with America that strengthened the US economy but to the detriment to many Australian industries like sugar etc. Again on my point about howard being scared of Asia, i would like to add the fact that howard did noting with the Asia region untill the early 2000's (upon preasure from the labor party and others), Howard doesn't even believe in APEC and the power it posses

  • @koowa2010 Rudd himself said that he was an economic conservative. Any modern society in the 21st century (influened economically by Wall Street) depends on conservative economic management. Now tell me, which side of the political spectrum does this idea come from?

  • @sahalexx You are right to point out that Rudd did say what you mentioned, but look were the economic conservatism got us... the GFC!!! country thats blindly follow the United Sates every where (including into wars like that of Iraq) are idiots. Australia needs to show more independance, instead of shoving our selves so far up the americans arse that we can't see the light.

  • @sahalexx oh just shut up, think you know everything don't you.

  • @IIproductionsII mate, if you know better, please contribute. If you don't, then don't even bother commenting. If you have something worthwhile to say, say it. Telling me to shutup doesn't prove that you're the most intelligent person, does it?

  • howard the dog of Oz. This guy is one of the wrost criminals in the 20th century.

  • Howard deserved a lot more then that, a whole closet full with heels would be nice, that man does have blood on his hands. He can rave how much he and Costello "saved" us from recession, but he sat on that surplus, cutting from every sector when they whould have been putting money into it, not caring about jobs housing, the elderly, training and education, infrastructure, selling off assets like Telstra, all for big buisness. Labor were adding to it before the Global Financial Crisis striked.

  • shame he missed

  • If only they'd done this 15 years ago and instead of throwing shoes, throwing a brick and it had hit his head, instead of flying past him. Oh well...

  • Howard hasn't changed a single bit at all, they thought he was still PM.

  • Wheat for weapons… Weapons of mass deception ……Lame though … use the jack boot 4 Johnny!

  • GREATEST THING EVER TO HAPPEN IN AUSTRALIA!

  • I wish I could join the shoe throwing party
