  • horrible voice recording

  • china's regime was far more brutal before the current regime and made into a prison by it's imperial rulers before communism brought about by western interference plunder and colonialism.

  • @YAYFUL1 The old "well we are not as bad as some argument."

  • @millertas

everything is to do with china's prosperity the west are more interested in china now because china is doing well and we are not. it makes good sense to do business with china in the present climate seeing as selling us democracy down the barrel of a gun has not worked and the western war machine and corporate greed has caused a recession. so go where the going is good. only a few days ago amnesty tried a pitch on me for funding in exchange for an undersized tshirt no thanks

  • @YAYFUL1 Not too sure what you mean with that last sentence. I am an Australian and as far as I know this country economically is doing better than most (IMO a combination of investment in public education and all those resources buried underground). I will agree on one thing - here in the west we don't know how lucky we are.

  • @YAYFUL1 You need to clarify whether you mean Chiang Kai-Shek led Kuomintang regime.

  • @millertas

i just watched a docu it was made by the usa but it was clear that he wasn't so great and as responsible for atrocities as previous regimes .

  • @YAYFUL1 Chiang Kai-Shek got into power by marrying the daughter of Sun Yat Sen but lost power when he concentrated on fighting Mao Tse Tung's forces rather than the Japanese. No leader whether liberal, conservative, socialist or capitalist should strive for 100% not "well we are not as bad as others".

  • doing business with china is not a crime having your countries bid for independence undermined by so called liberal minded english institutions including nick clegg's party is. china is like most countries evolving after many decades of oppression from within it's borders and most certainly from outside it's borders ie the uk usa europe, this is because the west despite it's rhetoric does not accept communism. china will change in time and hopefully not like "IRAQ" for business sakes of the west

  • @YAYFUL1 China's communism is not true communism.

  • @millertas

i'm neither capitalist or communist so it's all the same to me

  • @YAYFUL1 Not quite true but I know what you mean.

  • This world would be absolute paradise without humans

    :-/

  • @twistedbass15 paradise is a human concept.

  • @millertas I was thinking on behalf of the animals and the earth

  • @twistedbass15 Humans are the only animal who can make or break life on this planet and the only animal that cares. Humans have the ability to turn this world into a paradise again. It just requires the will.

  • @millertas I agree but 95% of people on this planet are inept, 1% are saints, 1% are arseholes and the other 3% are the people who can do what they say they can do. 4% isn't enough to save us or animals from us :-/ (animals do care btw)

  • @twistedbass15 Only the primates and humans know that their life is limited and that death is final. When I said humans are the only animal that cares, they are the only animal capable of caring for what happens on the other side of the world.

  • @millertas Tell that to the native american indians :-|

  • @twistedbass15 Tell what?

  • @millertas That paradise is a human concept. Same goes for the Aborigines, they had paradise and then the white man came :-| Any white man in Australia is just an immigrant. I'm white and I approve this message :-)

  • @twistedbass15 Not too sure what you mean? You imply here that neither Native Americans nor Australian Aboriginees are human? You also manipulate the meaning of immigrant, do you imply that any black man in Britain is an immigrant? My parents were born in London, While in Britain I remember speaking to a young man whose parents were born in Jamaica. Who was more British him or I? You are over categorising people (something I depise). Anyway we are straying we don't need zero humans just less.

  • @millertas White people are not indigenous to america or australia :-/ Shame that pandas, aborigines and native american indians are treated like shite. Also people that claim to care about animals also eat meat. This world is upside down and backwards.

  • @twistedbass15 I eat meat but I don't believe that consuming an individual animal has much to do with caring about the species. You seem to be confused about shared responsibility and that of the individual. White Australia was responsible for many atrocities but you can't point the finger at an individual, just like Individual Garmans and the holocaust. I again repeat, we don't need zero humans just less.

  • @millertas Not confused, i see things for what they are and not what i want them to be. You just prove my point, you respect and care about some animals and not others, animalist ?

  • @twistedbass15 True - I care for my family ahead of others, my fellow human beings ahead of other animals, the more intelligent mammals ahead of other mammals. I care for all animals but will admit to swatting flies and eating meat. Stop trying to be a purist this video cleverly depicts how some humans have been treated like zoo animals. I agree that zoos are less relevant and treat animals badly but I endorse this video in its attempt to point out that many humans have been treated the same.

  • @millertas It seems like social acceptability outweighs morality when it comes to choosing what animals we care about and what animals we kill for pleasure :-|

  • @twistedbass15 I find it both socially acceptable and moral to placehumans above other animals and mammals above insects and moliscs.

  • @millertas Why not treat all living things with respect, why do you feel the need to be above anything ? All living beings are earthlings regardless of what species. Isn't this why the Pandas are locked up coz people like you believe they have the right to control animals for pleasure?

  • @twistedbass15 I never said that I agreed with locking Pandas up. You completely misinterpret what I think and what Amnesty thinks. I repeat that this video is trying to say that many humans have been treated worse than Animals. Whether those animals are treated appropriately is another argument that I do not want to get into but yes if given the choice I would rescue a human before an individual from another species any day. I don't consider myself a murderer after I swat a fly. Get Real.

  • @twistedbass15 PS. I haven't been to a zoo since the 1970s.

  • @millertas I think your in a human zoo with huge invisible fences called borders

    :-D

  • @twistedbass15 Crikey!!!! Who's looking at us.

  • @millertas Other people from other zoo's :) I think its called holidays/vacation.

    larf !!
