i just wanted to say the #7 where Jason give up the immunity that wasn't actually a dumb move cuz he WASN'T VOTED OUT that night and he was able to BLINDSIDE OZZY!!! this video is clearly edited to make it look like he was voted out after he gave up the immunity but he WASN'T, it was Ozzy who go home that night & he didn't use his immunity cuz he thought he was safe & Jason was going...
if you look at it apparently survivor HvsV was shot about 1 month after Samoa so all of the cast didnt know how Russel played, cause Survivor Samoa would of aired while the were in HvsV
I think tyson should be way higher, at least in the top 5. He changed his vote and that's why he got voted out. He also ruined the game for boston rob from that moment on.
Its Irionic how so many of these are cause guys that get tricked by girls into giving there idols up or just giving up on something, just goes to show you whats happeing to our socitey now days!
JT's move isnt as dumb as people say. Yea giving up an idol to an opposing tribe member is dumb but Parvati had a reputation of leading a girls alliance which made him thought Russell was next if that was the case, Russell would flip....but it wasnt. Russell had a hidden reputation to the contestants which done JT in
@Deathencounter Even then, JT was too damn naive. In Tocantins, he got lucky in trusting the right people at the right time and Coach was to stupid to see the real danger he out his tribe in to begin with, allowing JT to make it to the finals. JT met his match with people who were not going to take someone like that to finals and he had a tribe that kicked off some of the best social stratigists of the game; Tom, Cirie, Stephanie and Sugar.
@Debachi Eliminating Cirie was Tom's mistake and spelled doom for the entire team. She was the most strategic thinker on the team, and while a threat, taking out a physical player would have been more likely to secure his place on the tribe. Loyalty and trust is important, and that seems to be what that team valued, but having a thinker on the team also helps ensure success.
@thephoenixisright They should know that there's a time and place to trust as there is to think of yourself or the team. Rupert, JT, James and Colby had no game and expected to play the "as long as it's not me card." Sandra, Parvarti, and even Russell already mastered this technique (so did Sugar, come to thing of it). Danielle and Jerry actually improved their game significantly (even though Danni ended in the jury this time), while Rupert and Colby do what they do best, be bitter!
@thephoenixisright In a way yes! This time she let others do the dirty work, but Russell probably figured he would win because he thought the jury would think, "Oh, the ladies already won, and Russell was smart enough to get to the finals again; let's give him the vote!" If Jerry, would've stayed instead of Russ, that logic would have most likely worked. By bringing Parv, who was targeted since the very beginning and Sandra, who made herself appear to have the "heroes' ", he lost miserably!
@thephoenixisright No, eliminating Tom was the mistake that the Heroes made. Cirie was likely to jump ship to the Villains post merge and work with that bitch Parvati again.
@psychokinrazalon Cirie is smart enough to know that that wasn't in her best interest. Being a flopper doesn't garner votes from the jury, and it doesn't gain trust with who is flopped to. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Cirie was not known for betraying alliances. Tom was more known for being strong. His strategic game in his original season consisted of bullying, to put it simply. But hey, it worked for him.

i would say JT made the dumbest move because he gave his idol away not knowing the situation at the other camp where as Erik had to be talked/guilt-ed into giving up immunity and Rupert should be on this list for trying to build a log cabin on the beach LMAO
@yukonr lol but if his assumption was right, JT would have been the greatest genius in survivor, too bad for Rupert's "that woman alliance looking VEEERY strong"
#2 DEFINITELY. Even Parvati (or Russell) asked in their solo interviews "why would you give the idol to the other team"?
Especially since Russell may have watched EVERYBODY ELSE from that season in most or all of their other seasons while NONE of the 19 other people had seen even 1 second of Russell's 1st season (Heroes vs. Villains started production at least 5 days before the opening night of Russell's first season was aired).
Giving the idol to someone you had never seen play???
#4 Colby taking Tina to the end didn't seem too dumb to me. He seemed happy that she won.
#3 Yeah, James did make a huge mistake not playing those 2 idols. Even if he knew he wasn't going home the first night that had both of them he could have gauranteed that he stayed 4 more days.
Ozzie went home that night. Jason didn't use the idol the next tribal council (Natalie sent him to Exile Island during the food auction) but that's not because he bowed out of the barrel challenge against Parvati.
Money isnt the biggest thing dude Ozzy did everything for his friends. He lost because of it. Thats ok. Ian did it so that he didnt need to be enemies anymore. Erik did it because he didnt want to mistreat people and push people around because of that necklace around his neck. Colby could have chose: Get the million and be an idiot or play another game as a hero. Its the experience that counts. Being a rich man doesnt mean a smart man
you seriously need to understand the difference between making a dumb move and making an honourable move,to some people a million dollars is enough to lose all your morals and integridy but to others its not, what colby and ian did was highly respectable, they didnt do it thinking it would benefite them anyway in terms of playing survivor, they did it because their heart told them to,from the goodness of human spirit.its like you cant say a soldier that sucides instead of being captured is stupid
@ulongkoror People like you piss me off, its a game. Not a real life scenario. Would you give all your motels up in Monopoly because your heart told you too? See how stupid that sounds? Again its a game, they know what they signed up for.
but do you realize the whole world is watching you play this game?and if you be a total douche bag like russhole then that reputation will haunt you til the day you die?your honour and intrigity is like, virginity, absolutely priceless and something you should be proud to have for as long as you can and if you want to lose it all over a green bag then its your choice, but for people with honour and a heart it is NOT worth it to lose it all in a game
@ulongkoror Agree that honor and integrity are both sacred things. So sacred that they cant be lost or jeapordized in something as miniscule as a reality tv show.
@josabby474 The difference is, Ian KNEW he was giving up the game. He chose it. He wasn't tricked or ill informed. He wanted back what he said, with what he did.
Ian's move was not dumb. He know he was going to be voted off, and he wanted to be voted off. For it to be stupid, I think they have to be blind on whats really going on. :P
@MrKrift no, willing getting voted off is tantamount to quitting, and quitting at the very end of the race is beyond dumb because it betrays the point of staying so long in a game....
#7 is fake...misspelled Ian's name...#2 is true & dumb, but to be fair they had no clue who Russell was. J.T. went on record to say had he known he NEVER would've made that move.
@TheZeddyboy All of Savaii wanted him in the final 3 and he ruined 5 peoples chances of winning and decided to be 7th. They said in interviews that Cochran was the perfect goat. That move made him have to chance of winning. If he somehow made it to the end none of Savaii would vote for him and there would be no way he could possibly win.
@MrTheamazingrace I figured he would get pulled into the final 3 and lose or if they would get rid of him after they finished picked off the other Savaiis. You would think Cochran would remember what happened to Shambo on Samoa.
@vaporterra watch ponderosa. jim says cochran had a 6 out of 7 chance to get to the final 3. I dont think Dawn, Cochran and Jim would let themselves get voted out 4th, 5th and 6th. It could have been a tied vote and up to fate to decide who would make it to the end.
@MrTheamazingrace Remember at the end of episode 9 after Jim was voted off, Jim told Keith and Ozzy "I thought we were supposed to be the final 3" meaning Jim was planning on going to the final 3 with Keith and Ozzy, but Keith wouldn't want that and Ozzy would vote with Keith and Whitney because by the final 4 there's no point it would just be a tie.
@MrTheamazingrace This post reeks of naivety. None of the Savaii's had any intention to ever bring Cochran to the end. I also read the transcripts and listened to the interviews, and they are false claims from people who were bitter, that they lost.
@MrTheamazingrace what did Marty do? And if u add Cochran to the elist, u might as well add Candice in Heroes vs. Villains and John in Samoa. Flipping doesn't deserve to be on the list.
@vaporterra he gave his idol to sash. good point with candice and john though. However Cochran could have got to the end in his original alliance. Colby and Candice were always on the outs in the heroes tribe. Laura and Erik from Galu were saying they didn't trust John so I don't think he would have made it to the end either.
@MrTheamazingrace oh I remember. Yeah that was a short term gain long term loss. That idol could've been useful later on. How did Colby get into this? But still flipping is not worthy of top 10 dumbest moves. It wasn't a bright move in retrospect for Cochran but it wasn't top 10 dumb worthy.
You can't call the Ian or Colby moves "dumb". Ian didn't jump off and say "Vote me out" without the knowledge that he was about to be voted out; he just placed a higher value on his friendship than on the game. He knew he was going, so it wasn't dumb. Similar thing for Colby - he knew he could easily beat Keith, but he also hated Keith and wanted to go to the end with somebody he respected. He knew the consequences but did it anyway. That's not a dumb move.
#2 Wasn't Dumb. In theory, it was an EXTREMELY GOOD STRATEGIC MOVE. I'll always back JT on this, because when they were out in Samoa, hey had no idea who Russell was. And if Russell actually was in danger like they thought he was, he would've flipped. It was just Russell's hidden identity that got him as far as it got him in HvV. Most rigged ass season in Survivor history. He'd be gone before Randy if they knew who he was.
@InternPony707 That is exactly why JT is stupid. He didn't know the guy. If someone on season 19 is going to be cast on an all-stars where there have been so many villainous people and they have no idea who he is and he is on a different tribe where you can't just assume what is going on, why would they trust him? JT just trusted him because they had similar accents and were both male. JT is stupid.
Top 5 Dumbest Survivors In History: 1. Jason (just a complete retard...) 2. Tyson 3. Erik 4. Ozzy 5. Anyone who's been voted off with an idol (...or 2 idols)
I don't understand why Colby is on this list for bringing Tina into the final two... I mean, alot of people brought someone to the final two/three who they couldn't beat. I think Stephenie and Rafe made a much dumber move in the Guatemala season by bringing Danni into the last immunity challenge instead of Lydia.
#10 wasn't dumb. Jonathan only mutinied to maintain his alliance with Candice, who mutinied first. Afterwards, he didn't have a choice but to flip back, because Yul had the overpowered immunity idol, and was going to vote Jonathan out if he didnt flip.
#8 should be #1. if tyson had stuck with the plan, rob would have won the season. no doubt about it. this list had to have been made by a russell fan. also, colby taking tina was not dumb. colby said in a confessional before he voted out keith that he knew he had a much better shot against keith and that he knew he would lose to tina. he wanted to take the more deserving player, and that is highly respectable. hes a true hero and shouldnt be called dumb for playing the game with high morals
@vellvita7 I'm not a Russell fan. Apart from him in Samoa he sucks. In Heroes Vs Villains his game hadn't changed at all and I began to notice how crap he was at the game and how he would never win. His third season completely ruined his reputation and now I think of him is a crying baby who sucks at survivor.
@MrTheamazingrace why would he have adjusted his game? He didnt know he didnt win survivor samoa before entering HvV. It was onyl until Heroes vs villains was finished that he knew the results of Samoa.
@thegamexxx1234 That is false. He said in an interview that after the tribal in Samoa he felt he might not have won and said he was trying to change his gameplay but then didn't want rob feeling like he ran the show so he started to play the same exact way again
@vellvita7 You're obviously a Rob fan if you don't think Erik giving away immunity that far into the game away or being voted out with two idols or giving an idol to an enemy you know nothing about is worse than someone manipulating you into changing your vote for the biggest threat of the season.
@004Daniel erik's move was strategic. it was understandable. jt's move couldve been brilliant. russell had a HUGE handicap playing in a season where everyone else had targets on their backs and no one had seen him play before which is why i dislike heroes vs villains. james shouldve played an idol but cmon the dumb part of that was him NOT making a move. tyson's vote changed the entire season of H vs V. his logic behind the move made no sense at all
@vellvita7 Yeah, it was dumb, but he was tricked and he had no reason to not trust Russell because he never saw how Russell played the game the previous season.
@vellvita7 Exactly. That's what made Colby a hero. And that's what made Coach a villain. Coach was too much of a coward to take a person more deserving to the final three because he knew he would lose against Ozzy. But the funny thing is that he still lost against Sophie.
@SoKissMe2 Exactly...and another funny thing is that Ozzy wanted to vote for Coach, but since Coach was too much of a coward to own up to his game plan, he lost that vote ♥♥
@vellvita7 rob is a evil little scheming bitch just like russel is only difference is russel admits that he plays that way while rob tries to save face. robs a bitch n the guy needs to learn some grammar. the guy instantly tries to get russel out in heroes vs villians and gets owned by an amazing move by russ. no one plays like russ the game is called survivor not be nice to everyone and ride coat tails to the end. thats boring and bitchmade
@etaco25 Jonathan and Candice mutinied (chose to switch tribes). When the two tribes merged, Jonathan flipped back and voted with his old tribe, who then voted him out as soon as they had numbers. He had awful strategy.
The DUMBEST PLAYER IN SURVIVOR HISTORY IS----> unfortunately OZZY TOPS THE LIST after that stunt he pulled yesterday...I don't think anyone will EVER come close!!!
He's one of Russell Hantz' cousins. He was on the most recent season of Redemption Island (with Coach Wade and Ozzie Lusth coming back as the 2 previous players).
honestly, i will also take Amanda taking Cirie and Parvati a dumb move because either way, Amanda is losing that season, she just wanted to get to the end but not win, very poor player indeed, not to mention her poor argument in the final tribal council
Umm...for #7, Jason didn't get voted out that night. Ozzy did. And Candice damaged her own game by mutinying more than Jonathan did his...she was villainized by both the castaways and the viewers alike for her move. Not to mention Jonathan outlasted her.
LMAO at Parvati: "You'll officially go down as the dumbest Survivor ever...... in the history of Survivor.... Ever." hahahahaha I've always loved that line.
i don't think Ian giving up imunity should be considered a dumb move in my opinion to be considered a dumb move you should be unaware that it might lead to your downfall in the game what Ian did was more honorable than anything
I can't believe Tyson flipping his vote is only #8 on this list. Flipping his vote made absolutely no sense at all. They had a 100% foolproof plan, and he screwed it all up on the advice of the person he was trying to take out.

@zyNc911 Word...the person who uploaded the video needs to take the Jason giving up immunity moment out of there, because that didn't lead to his eviction, and replace it with Lex keeping Amber over Jerri ♥♥
#7 is fabricated. Ozzy was voted out the night Jason gave up his immunity. Jason was voted out 3 days later with an idol in his pocket. A dumb move, yes. But the uploader is twisting it to make it seem as though Jason giving up immunity was responsible for him being voted out. It's not how it went down.
@setrataeso #1 is kind of fabricated too. Jonathan only mutinied because he was in an alliance with Candance and SHE mutinied first, he had no choice but to go with her.
@Cirvantes123 Well, sort of...Jonathan DID have a choice to not mutiny...but he did and it was a dumb move for them both in the long run. Had Jonathan not mutinied, he:
1) Would not have pissed off everyone in the game
2) Would have remained on Aitutaki, which went on an immunity winning streak
3) Would have almost certainly made it to at least 5th place, instead of 7th
I don't think it's the dumbest move ever, but I don't think it's fabricated at all...

@Churchx77 Absolutely. It made absolutely no sense whatsoever to screw up the 100% foolproof plan that had been implimented, expecially considering that Tyson did so on the advice of the enemy.
@Moo55 Yes finally, I just didnt understand it. I mean what was the point if they had an immunity idol. If it was not one then it was the other. Which bothered me cos Tysons first playthrough was really good he was a good sport but this was just plain dumb. I was glad he was voted out.
Why did erik from survivor 16 GIVE his necklace to Natalie, because that's exactly what the alliance of Amanda, Cirie and Parvait WANTED! and guess what, HE GOT VOTED OUT, WHAT A DODO!
Erik wins for dumbest survivor history THen Colby's gay cheer for a stranger winning over him? I never got that one?

but do you realize the whole world is watching you play this game?and if you be a total douche bag like russhole then that reputation will haunt you til the day you die?your honour and intrigity is like, virginity, absolutely priceless and something you should be proud to have for as long as you can and if you want to lose it all over a green bag then its your choice, but for people with honour and a heart it is NOT worth it to lose it all in a game
ulongkoror 1 week ago
@ulongkoror Agree that honor and integrity are both sacred things. So sacred that they cant be lost or jeapordized in something as miniscule as a reality tv show.

How about Brandon voting off Kelly in Africa? It isn't mentioned often, but I think it's definately one of the dumbest moves of all time.

@josabby474 The difference is, Ian KNEW he was giving up the game. He chose it. He wasn't tricked or ill informed. He wanted back what he said, with what he did.

@MrKrift no, willing getting voted off is tantamount to quitting, and quitting at the very end of the race is beyond dumb because it betrays the point of staying so long in a game....

@MrTheamazingrace cochran wasn't a dumb move
TheZeddyboy 2 months ago in playlist later
@TheZeddyboy All of Savaii wanted him in the final 3 and he ruined 5 peoples chances of winning and decided to be 7th. They said in interviews that Cochran was the perfect goat. That move made him have to chance of winning. If he somehow made it to the end none of Savaii would vote for him and there would be no way he could possibly win.
MrTheamazingrace 2 months ago
@MrTheamazingrace I figured he would get pulled into the final 3 and lose or if they would get rid of him after they finished picked off the other Savaiis. You would think Cochran would remember what happened to Shambo on Samoa.
panterror27 2 months ago
@MrTheamazingrace what interviews? and plus, no they didn't. It would've been Keith, Whitney, and Ozzy in the end.
vaporterra 2 months ago
@vaporterra watch ponderosa. jim says cochran had a 6 out of 7 chance to get to the final 3. I dont think Dawn, Cochran and Jim would let themselves get voted out 4th, 5th and 6th. It could have been a tied vote and up to fate to decide who would make it to the end.
MrTheamazingrace 2 months ago
@MrTheamazingrace Remember at the end of episode 9 after Jim was voted off, Jim told Keith and Ozzy "I thought we were supposed to be the final 3" meaning Jim was planning on going to the final 3 with Keith and Ozzy, but Keith wouldn't want that and Ozzy would vote with Keith and Whitney because by the final 4 there's no point it would just be a tie.
vaporterra 2 months ago
@MrTheamazingrace Jim, out of all the contestants last season, was the sourest, most bitter juror in many years. He will say anything to save face.
SurvivorVeteran1 1 day ago
@MrTheamazingrace This post reeks of naivety. None of the Savaii's had any intention to ever bring Cochran to the end. I also read the transcripts and listened to the interviews, and they are false claims from people who were bitter, that they lost.
SurvivorVeteran1 1 day ago
@TheZeddyboy no chance of winning*
MrTheamazingrace 2 months ago
@MrTheamazingrace what did Marty do? And if u add Cochran to the elist, u might as well add Candice in Heroes vs. Villains and John in Samoa. Flipping doesn't deserve to be on the list.
vaporterra 2 months ago
@vaporterra he gave his idol to sash. good point with candice and john though. However Cochran could have got to the end in his original alliance. Colby and Candice were always on the outs in the heroes tribe. Laura and Erik from Galu were saying they didn't trust John so I don't think he would have made it to the end either.
MrTheamazingrace 2 months ago

That's not a dumb move.
zimdelinvasor 2 months ago 3
Yeah no 7 is just wrong
12from121 3 months ago
#2 Wasn't Dumb. In theory, it was an EXTREMELY GOOD STRATEGIC MOVE. I'll always back JT on this, because when they were out in Samoa, hey had no idea who Russell was. And if Russell actually was in danger like they thought he was, he would've flipped. It was just Russell's hidden identity that got him as far as it got him in HvV. Most rigged ass season in Survivor history. He'd be gone before Randy if they knew who he was.
InternPony707 3 months ago
@InternPony707 That is exactly why JT is stupid. He didn't know the guy. If someone on season 19 is going to be cast on an all-stars where there have been so many villainous people and they have no idea who he is and he is on a different tribe where you can't just assume what is going on, why would they trust him? JT just trusted him because they had similar accents and were both male. JT is stupid.

I don't understand why Colby is on this list for bringing Tina into the final two... I mean, alot of people brought someone to the final two/three who they couldn't beat. I think Stephenie and Rafe made a much dumber move in the Guatemala season by bringing Danni into the last immunity challenge instead of Lydia.

jason is bumb as fuck....
jliciousdiwikenyy 3 months ago
#10 wasn't dumb. Jonathan only mutinied to maintain his alliance with Candice, who mutinied first. Afterwards, he didn't have a choice but to flip back, because Yul had the overpowered immunity idol, and was going to vote Jonathan out if he didnt flip.
griskit 3 months ago
Ian's move was the dumbest in my opinion because he quit.
josabby474 3 months ago
#8 should be #1. if tyson had stuck with the plan, rob would have won the season. no doubt about it. this list had to have been made by a russell fan. also, colby taking tina was not dumb. colby said in a confessional before he voted out keith that he knew he had a much better shot against keith and that he knew he would lose to tina. he wanted to take the more deserving player, and that is highly respectable. hes a true hero and shouldnt be called dumb for playing the game with high morals
vellvita7 3 months ago 24
@vellvita7 how the fuck was this made by a russell fan if Russells blindside wasn't number 1?
IceYourPimpHand 3 months ago
@vellvita7 I'm not a Russell fan. Apart from him in Samoa he sucks. In Heroes Vs Villains his game hadn't changed at all and I began to notice how crap he was at the game and how he would never win. His third season completely ruined his reputation and now I think of him is a crying baby who sucks at survivor.
MrTheamazingrace 3 months ago
@MrTheamazingrace why would he have adjusted his game? He didnt know he didnt win survivor samoa before entering HvV. It was onyl until Heroes vs villains was finished that he knew the results of Samoa.
thegamexxx1234 3 months ago
@thegamexxx1234 That is false. He said in an interview that after the tribal in Samoa he felt he might not have won and said he was trying to change his gameplay but then didn't want rob feeling like he ran the show so he started to play the same exact way again
004Daniel 3 months ago
@vellvita7 You're obviously a Rob fan if you don't think Erik giving away immunity that far into the game away or being voted out with two idols or giving an idol to an enemy you know nothing about is worse than someone manipulating you into changing your vote for the biggest threat of the season.
004Daniel 3 months ago
@004Daniel erik's move was strategic. it was understandable. jt's move couldve been brilliant. russell had a HUGE handicap playing in a season where everyone else had targets on their backs and no one had seen him play before which is why i dislike heroes vs villains. james shouldve played an idol but cmon the dumb part of that was him NOT making a move. tyson's vote changed the entire season of H vs V. his logic behind the move made no sense at all
vellvita7 3 months ago
@vellvita7 Yeah, it was dumb, but he was tricked and he had no reason to not trust Russell because he never saw how Russell played the game the previous season.
MAriNeMandM 2 months ago
@vellvita7 Exactly. That's what made Colby a hero. And that's what made Coach a villain. Coach was too much of a coward to take a person more deserving to the final three because he knew he would lose against Ozzy. But the funny thing is that he still lost against Sophie.
SoKissMe2 2 months ago
@SoKissMe2 Exactly...and another funny thing is that Ozzy wanted to vote for Coach, but since Coach was too much of a coward to own up to his game plan, he lost that vote ♥♥

@vellvita7 rob is a evil little scheming bitch just like russel is only difference is russel admits that he plays that way while rob tries to save face. robs a bitch n the guy needs to learn some grammar. the guy instantly tries to get russel out in heroes vs villians and gets owned by an amazing move by russ. no one plays like russ the game is called survivor not be nice to everyone and ride coat tails to the end. thats boring and bitchmade

badguykris13 4 months ago
Umm...for #7, Jason didn't get voted out that night. Ozzy did. And Candice damaged her own game by mutinying more than Jonathan did his...she was villainized by both the castaways and the viewers alike for her move. Not to mention Jonathan outlasted her.

It's not how it went down.
setrataeso 6 months ago 24
@setrataeso #1 is kind of fabricated too. Jonathan only mutinied because he was in an alliance with Candance and SHE mutinied first, he had no choice but to go with her.
Cirvantes123 5 months ago
@Cirvantes123 Well, sort of...Jonathan DID have a choice to not mutiny...but he did and it was a dumb move for them both in the long run. Had Jonathan not mutinied, he:
1) Would not have pissed off everyone in the game
2) Would have remained on Aitutaki, which went on an immunity winning streak
3) Would have almost certainly made it to at least 5th place, instead of 7th
I don't think it's the dumbest move ever, but I don't think it's fabricated at all...
