how did you get a boot screen like that? I know you can change them with special programs but that one is a lot cooler than others I have seen. I liked how I used to be able to make real cool ones for Win 95 and 98 but not XP :(

Thanks for the comment! It's a feature of the motherboard that it has the ability to take an image in BMP format (256 colours at 640x480 max), the program is called Face-wizard and it came on a CD with the motherboard, the motherboard is the Gigabyte GA-M55plus-S3G
I wonder if it is possible to mask it over the verifying pool data

Just got used to it, latest pc is running 120mm fans all round but the cpu one is pretty loud at full speed to keep the Q6600 at 3.4Ghz
