  • I am rether glad that France rejoind with NATO, I suppose that President DeGaul was one of those who belived in alliences but not progress and unification. Today France stand at a hier role in NATO and of corce it is as important as all European contries in the EDA.

  • One last thing, lit NATO traitors:

    KOSOVO IS SERBIA!

  • tell me, whom did nato betray to be called traitors? it could not betray serbia in any way. serbia is not in nato.

nato intervention in balkans was provoked not by war itself, but by the way it was waged. undeniable are repeated attrocities of ethnic cleansing. serbian authorities had recieved many pleas to stop it. and they promised to investigate and stop any killings of non combatants. this however has not stopped. then there were threats. and then war.

  • What NATO has done to Serbia they would do to Spain if Spain hindered their multicultural agendas and capitalistic profits.

Remember Lepanto. Or the recent conflict in Perejil: Except for LePen, German, British and French politicians and press laughed at Spain and offered no support, not even moral.

NATO and EU have no cultural consciesness nor any solidarity. They are a business club with petty interests. Many "Europeans" would sell Spain to Islam for a couple of $ like they did with Serbia.

  • @xgocadiz I don't know who you are but your commont that the EU would betray Spain is insolting. Spain is one of us, if we betray them it's like betraying our own brother. Trust us, as a european I vow not to let spain nor any other Europeans fall without a fight. ;)

  • I believe the role of NATO today is very similar to the role of similar treaty organizations during the late middle ages, to advance and protect the economic goals of the member states. This was not NATO's original primary goal. As politics in the North Atlantic have changed, so have NATO objectives. NATO members have furtherd the imperialistic goals of member states such as US and UK, although it does not need NATO membership to do this, as per France in Indo -china.

  • I didnt say that NATO didnt come first, i said that its mission 60 yrs was a front against The WP. Also, hypothetical missile deployments in eastern europe have nothing to do with Lord Isamy or anything he ever said. this has nothing to do with the conversation

  • You just affirmed the whole point of my argument which is that NATO's mission today has nothing to do with NATO''s mission of 60 years ago, when its purpose was to counter the warsaw pact, which as you point out, is no longer in existence. Thats the problem with all of you people who rely on historical context, to appeal to emotional sentiment. no one take it seriously

  • No, im saying that what a NATO secretary general said 60 years ago dosnt matter any more than what stalin said 60 years ago. understand?

  • yes and ceasar crossed the rubicon
