  • Most successful and influential reality show in history is still going strong, and for two reasons: they keep finding interesting personalities, and they're not afraid to tweak the formula to keep things fresh and unpredictable. The Survivor of today is a far sleeker beast than it was a decade ago. It may have become too punishing though. A guy almost died this last season, and quitting used to be unheard of.
