They usually have any anglophones in asian movies purposefully speak slowly...why I don't really know. If the audience isn't English fluent, what good does speaking slowly do? It does make them look stupid , but then again they do the same thing to foreigners on american tv.

Wel lfrom what I've observed in Asian dramas and movies! When they need foreigners in their films they usually go and pick random ppl w/o experiences. If they hire ppl with acting experience, they'll need to pay the actors for what they're worth! so...
