  • Just like America in 2011 and on.

  • Dear lady,

I couldn't feel more terrible while I was hearing that interview.... I am sorry the innocent people of Iran are suffering like this. Heart-breaking doesn't cut it.

But DON'T wish for American, NATO or generally foreign intervention.... THEY SUCK!! Look at what they did in Iraq and Afghanistan; well, it might work, but a FAR better solution would be to join the Arab Spring. Remove the government by yourselves!!!!

    FREE IRAN!!!

  • THIS is what religion is. i'm not saying capitalism is any better but it certainly offers better options than the madmen at the vatican or tehran. i agree with smashedeyeglasses.. the iranian ppl - like the rumanians - must solve this themselves and smash the heads of their corrupt evil regime.

    POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!

  • What's even worse is that re Iranians have a combined total of 300trillion dollars in US banks, imagine what that would do to the US and the world economy if one day the Iranians say, "oh, we want all our money back"

There really is no solution to this. The Iranian people, as bad as it sounds have to solve it themselves, revolution.

  • OMG was cenk about to cry at 6.04? his voice was breaking a little. but seriously man, are the iranian military with ahmadinejad cause if they are then its pretty difficult. like the pakistani military is separate from the goverment. so when someone starts fucking up a lot the army fucks him up. hope irans the same and man do they have guts.

  • Sometimes us as Americans take for granted what we have in our country. Im not saying America is perfect but at least we dont have to worry about Obama sending the military after us. Iranian people are definitely people to respect for their courage.

  • @MatheJ09

    Praise Allah for that.

  • Fine and dandy. Now, report the repression going on in the US. Look up GANG STALKING, COINTELPRO, TARGETED INDIVIDUALS, MONARCH II (PT TWELVE), TYRANNICAL OPPRESSION on YouTube. They literally move into homes, apartments and businesses around you, track and follow you, bug your home, try to get you fired so you lose your home and hopefully commit suicide. Now, report that.

  • @1975Aspen

Oh please, you make it sound like an everyday occurance. If it was, we'd know, and as bawdy Americans, we sure as shit would NEVER take any shit like that. Look at the Civil Rights, Stonewall, and the AANCP???

WE are not going to take shit from anyone. Deal with it. You've been reading too many conspiracy books, dude.

  • who is responsible for the beatings? is it the president?

  • Interesting tactics they are using by saying "BBC reporters shot the person." They are not only deflecting the blame, but maybe people who believe that message will actually attack/injure/murder BBC reporters, which would discourage BBC reporters from coming to Iran.

  • sagol arkadas, elinize saglik

  • This the real face of damn islamic regime.

  • how can someone want to hurt somebody like that its so bad

  • Iranians are strong, independent and freedom loving?

They're just normal people. Like in any dictatorship there's the nomenklatura, grasses and careerists, but in a nation of 70 million there's a hell of a lot of folk that just want a peaceful life with the minimum amount of brainwashing and being shot by the state. If you're brought up in a dictatorship you feel the tide better than in free countries - they know how much they can risk. Romanticising normal folk is as patronising as fuck.

  • what the hell are you talking about? you dont even know iranian people, if u were in iran you wouldnt even dare to walk out the door! we have seen such horror and brutality in iran that no one has ever witnessed! Iranian people are fighting this bastard regime with all thay have, all we need is for people like obama to not ignore human right issue in iran just becos he wants to have talks with this dictatorship regime.

  • Dear Lamborger, obviously you don't know anything about Iran. Majority of Iranian people don't give a *** about Islam. We hate Islam. Allaho Akbar is a key phrase. That's all. Please don't speak for us. Also, right now, another horrible factor is that Hamas & Hezbollah, the most violent and savage beasts on this planet, are in Iran, killing protesters and torturing women. So please don't criticize TYT. I'm Iranian, and I'm very pleased about how he reported the truth in this video.

  • @pinkpolitics

Just know, my Irannian sister, we here in America, Britain, and the West are here for you. The vast, VAST majority just cannot fathom the nightmare of a life that you live as civillians under these mullahs, and clerics.

Clerics...PHAW. Isn't that a man of God/Allah? How could Allah allow such atrocities? I have seen NOTHING Muslim in Iran. I see bloodshed, and corruption. All across the middle east. My heart cries for you all...May Allah protect you, my sister.

  • @pinkpolitics I wish you the best Iranians!!! You rock!!!

  • @pinkpolitics good for u u made white people happy, but ur not majority of iranians. nice try tho, maybe next time?

  • It's great to see some religious nut talking about disregarding facts.

  • Allahu Akbar, an Islamic exclamation called the Takbir in Arabic which means "Allah is the Greatest"

What is wrong with saying Allahu Akbar?

  • Nothing is wrong with it. I was saying the opposite of what I think you think I was trying to say.

  • Down with religion

Freedom for the Iranian people and freedom from religion for everyone, may the Mullahs all be killed and tortured death to the supreme leader for betraying their people

  • One day theyll cut your head off you muslim fuck.

  • I agree! Islam didn't cause this, but it is the main reason they people haven't stood up to it by now. If you follow irrational dogma and accept that anyone has spiritual authority over anyone else, this is the fate you can expect your beliefs to lead to in the long run.

Rationality is the only way to overcome this kind of tyranny.

  • Islam doesn't exists that's the point , it's just a tool used to control the ignorant like all religion, if there really was a god we would not be having this conversation.

  • God...

    This.....sucks.

There's absolutely no other way to describe this. These people, no, they deserve a better word, these heroes take to the streets and protest their disapproval, and their leaders do this.

We have our faults, but at the very least, we have the right to protest and fear no reprocussions. These Iranians, who march for all they believe in.The proper adjective doesn't exist to describe them. We take it for granted.

My heart and soul go out to the protestors.

  • You are amazing. Nailed it as exactly as what it is. NO ONE has mentioned this in the news and all Iranian know about this. Khamenie's son is behind all the killing and brutality. Thank you

  • Cenk, I love you. I agree with every word. omg this made me cry. thank you.

  • oh come on....this just another nail in the coffin

freaking the world is just mad, no it did not go mad

    it has been

  • thank you for your kind words about the iranian people

  • god, that is horrible. Imagine having absolutely no control over you're life, absolutely no protection from your government . . its so sad, and so scary. Thank god i live in America

  • Yeah thank GOD you live in the most hated country in the world.

  • What the hell is wrong with you? She was just in a mob where people were beat down, thrown off a bridge, murdered. And you think she's whining?

  • It's an iranian civil war. No one else can fight this war for them. I don't mean no one else should -- i mean no one can't. Cenk made the point: if we go there how will we know who is who?

Only the entire iranian population is going to know who is who because that is their country, their neighbourhoods, their friends and family.

If the iranian people do not stand up against their government (and yes it's not going to be pretty) they will be left with a tyranny. No ifs ands or buts.

  • Comment removed

  • Whole damn world's goe soft. Mikes Hard Lemonade. Hahahaha.

  • And BTW, a women or dude is killed everyday in America by a cop with a taser. Yet when some woman is killed in a foreign country, it's national news (and used disgustingly for propaganda purposes - it's not much of a stretch to assume they needed someone dead for exactly that purpose).

Your own government is ROGUE, it's CRIMINAL!!! Your elected officials are illegitimate Wall Street hustlers and pimps. Stop fawning over that Madison Avenue-fraud Obama and take your country back from the Fed!

  • Wonder why Soros-backed Cenk is talking so much bullshit about this 'fake' colour revolution in Iran.

Google USAID - colour revolutions - George Soros - CIA - Iran.

Bush has been openly formenting counter revolutions within that country since last September.

This is all a big fat BLACK OP. Learn that word well, it will serve you well.

All you liberals need to wake up big time and realize Obama is not your big teddy bear - he's a socialist puppet and he's going to hurt you real bad.

  • thank you.. i vote you for president

  • I'm Italian , my heart it's for youth Iranian !

God and Halla bless valourus Iranian People!

  • Wow... all i can say is wow...

  • Yeah the Iranian government is a fraud, very very true, but so is the last several US and UK and for that matter governments of any so called Democracy based government in the so called Western world. Power corrupts regardless, our governments are just run by big corporations... but its no different at the end of the day, just on step more in the leap frog to dictatorship.

  • Did he just quote Star Trek V?

  • DAMN he knows wat hes saying...damet garm

  • I must admit that I do not know if I could have that kind of courage. We find it easy here in America to talk a good game, but when push comes to shove I think most of us would stay in doors.

I have marched and protested a number of times as an adult, been photographed and had insults hurled at me. Fortunately, I have never been beaten or arrested.

These Iranians have my complete respect and sympathy.

  • Why does God need a starship? lol you trekkie

  • I'm glad that the world is finally seeing the ture face of Iran regime,

    thank you cenk

  • Israel will do all they can to get the USA to invade Iran. Don't get me wrong Mohammedanism is a plague on the earth and generally it would be a positive thing if it was wiped from the earth, but so is Israel. Never trust Israel.

  • Cenk you sound dumb as hell, there are people dying in Africa everyday but are you buzzing that? NO!~

  • "you should stop this". This is very harsh. I feel very sympathetic to this woman but I don't know what a real solution would be. If we get involved in this war it will be another Iraq. My only solution is to get involved behind the scenes and help them take down their own leader but not with our troops.

  • That didn't make sense. Get behind the scenes and help them take down their leaders, but don't get send in troops?

So how do we help take down their leaders without sending in troops?

I think the solution would be for the protestors to start fighting back hard. I mean when you get pushed you push back. BEAT THEM LIKE THEY STOLE SOMETHING cause they did.

  • Think about it. How do you not send troops but help the people? You give them guns and intelligence.

    Makes sense to me.

If we send troops, it's going to be Iraq all over again. It might be justified, but we'll be fighting extremist for another 10 years.

  • We are in a proxy war with Iran.

I will bet you it is Ahmadinejad and Katamei's involvement that orchestrated the recent bombings in Iraq as retaliation to the US. As always, it is civilians that pay the price. If Iranians do not remove Katamei and Ahmadinejad; Iran will fall into a long brutal civil war. How long does Katamei think soldiers in Iran and members of the Revolutionary guard will sit by ideally when their colleagues massacre Iranian civilians?????

  • I completely agree with you. It's a shame that politics can get in the way of helping people that desperately needs it. It's rly heartbreaking, knowing that there are people that desperately need our help, and who are victims to completely brutal violence and suppression, and yet we're really incapable of doing anything about it. I can only hope that someone in iran gets lucky, and gets a clear shot of the iotolah (sorry if thats shittily spelled) and ahmadenijad and takes those fuckers out

  • As an Iranian, I think what Obama administration did was cool so far.. and right, US shouldn't take side with any political party or anything, cuz that would mean direct meddling.. but practically speaking they should somehow help people of Iran out.. by imposing more pressure on Islamic Republic government, by not recognizing the current coup government of Iran.. and I think that is what we Iranian want.. and if you think you want to help, you should ask your governments to do so

  • All this while, obama is behaving like a deer caught in headlights.

  • fuck russia

  • first of all us Americans let bush steal the elections, yes plural . and second im not saying send them in to take over im just saying to protect the unarmed citizens

  • It was a stolen election yet somehow a fairly stolen election. Don't you remember the butterfly ballots? Al Gore wasn't the 2nd one on the list but he was the second one on the left side. The True 2nd person would be on the right side and covered up by the right hand. George won the election by the true sum of votes in Florida, albeit that 2nd person received more votes in that district than anywhere else in the nation.

  • They blame us for their own people wanting freedom. I don't think it will be too long until the revolution will have western involvement, starting with special forces

  • this has happened in many places of the world in many times in history!~!! u fuckers who do that will choke on it!

  • The UN should use intervene on this persian situation.

  • "Believe nothing you hear, and only half of what you see"

  • STRIKE, STRIKE, STRIKE already! bring the dictators down!

  • Fuck the helping. If the Iranians want their freedom they'll be able to get it somehow, by themselves and i doubt that any country would be generous enough to intervene against the government and just leave if they dont get some cheese for helping.

This is history. It's always been this way, almost no one in the planet managed to overthrow a Fascist government without suffering casualties. It's the way it is, you just fight for your freedom, PERIOD.

  • the american gov can help the iranian ppl by broadcasting videos that have been captured by satellites showing the inhumanity and the brutality of the iranian police

  • your missing the point cenk. These arent protesters any more when they break shops and vandalize it and break into banks and set trash on fire and harass people who arent in support of moussavi.

I have friends in iran that say there car windows were broken when the protestors said that supporters of moussavi hank and they didnt. The 1st day was protest , the 2nd day even perhaps, weeks on rioting and making every bodys life a hell? No, its not peaceful protesting, and they must be removed

  • didnt you hear cenk say that they grabbed some random person on the street and beat him?

  • Was he black. Cuz i'd understand it then. Police do that to black people in the u.s. all the time.

  • how can u prove it was a random person? maybe that "random" person was a trouble maker ... i think u all r jumping to conclusions here ....

  • Protesting in the streets in Iran is a waste of time and a good way to get killed. These protestors should have organized, gotten some members of the military behind them, or gotten a little I.R.A. on their asses.

That's how you get things done!

  • You are almost right, they should organize death squads, iraqi style. And we should be arming them with AKs and RGP-7s through the border of Iraq.

They should root out and execute the current members of the ruling elite, along with their close family. You give them a 5minute long trial, then you hang or behead them.

  • If you kill enough, the rest will shit their religious pants and flee to syria or egypt.

A revolution without mass execution is weak sauce. They must fill the streets with blood, and preferably not their.

  • this sort of thing happens in the US everytime theres a protest. how about new yorks finest rounding up american citizens during the republican conventions.

Iran today appears more responsible and civilized in comparison to the former united states and the way they deal with descent.

  • Since you believe that the same thing happens in the US, you can explain when New York police attacked protesters with axes?

  • why is no one talking about NKorea? I mean they are flat out saying they're gonna kill us!

  • They've been saying that for years, besides they don't have the capability.

  • I'd just like to say THANK GOD John McCain did not win. Just imagine how stupidly he'd handle this situation.

  • Nobody cares what you have to say.

  • Obama is on the left. Hitler was on the right.

Go read some more history buddy, if anyone was close to facism it would be Bush/Cheyney.

  • Fascism has nothing to do with left-right!

Fascism is when political power and corporate power become one and the same!

  • Hitler was a worker socialist

doesnt sound like his was on the right

  • No it doesnt.

    And that was the point.

The Nationale Deutshe Socialste Arbeites Partie was so named to disguise it extreme right-wing views, and attract more Man on the Street worker members; that way the Industrialist and extreme nationalists who financed it could hide their true intent, and exploit the cry of Workers Unite as Bolshevism was sweeping through the collapsed German infrastructure after WW1.

  • In fact, Hitler first came to their party meetings as an Army Intelligence operative hunting out left-wing political groups. He heard their extreme right-wing, nationalist and anti-Semitic views, liked what he heard, joined and eventually rose to lead them.

Once their power base was firmly fixed by the 1920's the worker mask had been dropped, and violent quelling of all Left Wing, Communist & Bolshevik political opposition brought blood to the streets.

  • The NAZI party (as it was by then called) then rose into power on a banner of protecting Germany, and All Western Europe, from the "Scourge" of Soviet Communism. (This bought Hitler & the Nazi's respect and support from elements within both the UK and the USA). And under this banner they began the systematic persecution of the Jews and minorities, and monopolised their power.

  • But enough of what you can read in a history book.

Suffice to say Hitler and the Nazi's were about as far from the Communist left as it was possible to get.

(Sorry for taking up so many boxes, but Im sick and tired of hearing that "Hitler was a Communist" Shite!!!)

  • (addendum to above post; its NSDAP sorry)

  • What not a " I'm wet for palin" post ?

  • "What does God need with a spaceship??!" Genius Star Trek 5 quote. Well done Cenk.

  • Best line from the worst Star Trek film

  • touche!

  • and knowledge is power

  • I don't know what to think anymore. Maybe a military coup in Iran is the only thing left. But it looks like they are practiced oppressors and are beating people short of death and will probably hold back from mass shootings on the scale to stop protests.

  • A coup is not necessary, and the iranian military is part of the problem. There is a feud between the old-school clerics and the new-school militarists! The chamber of experts has the legal authority to remove the supreme leader. we'll see if enough support is gathered for that.

  • Power of Nightmares is a very interesting doc. Highly recommended!

  • The last time the CIA was known to be involved it was for a sinister agenda! They took down a democratically elected leader who wanted to nationalize the oil industry. Part of the reason for the revolution years later.

  • Don't believe anything you were, this COULD be bullshit. We have no idea whats going on there. Each side will see thing through their own perspective, america will pick a side and then try and convince the people to side with their guy. We can not rely on television, THIS IS WHY THEY SAY THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED, because they will not show a true revolution that will free the people. Tell me someone else sees a pattern here.

  • Well you can look directly at the two candidates involved and make a judgment on which you would prefer based on there own words. I do agree with you to an extent but I don't think this is necessarily that case here. This certainly isn't a true revolution to free the people of Iran either way. Even the people protesting are not askign for the structure of Iranian government to change, just for it to work like it is supposed to.

  • we're broke and bogged down in two other countries and you want to start a war with 2 more? what the fuck are you smoking?

  • God, is it tempting to ask our government to step in, but I'm almost sure all hell will break loose if we do. In the mean time, do what you can to spite iran. Though the iranian government ignores the western world, we have the power to pressure it's allies. Join a human rights group (i.e. Amnesty International), protest in busy streets, organize a massive letter writing campaign to Russia or China, etc. etc.

  • When Seattle PD colbbers Americans, the MSM says its cool.. when Iran PD does it, its repression.

  • The difference is in state sponsorship. The basiij is a direct Arm of the Supreme Leader.

  • Seriously, it sucks, but this is the only way. Revolutions are usually bloody as fuck, especially with a government that's more than willing to beat the shit out of dissenters. You have to fight for it.

I'll tell you this though, I would be all for good old "USA: World Police" if we didn't have so much shit to deal with already.

  • Still at least they aren't being shot dead for being black on the subway, or black in possession of a vehicle, or black while holding a sandwich wrapped in tinfoil.

  • Black angst, much? :|

  • It'd be interesting to see how many people are shot by US cops during the same time period.

  • Dude, he's Irish!

  • Yeah I shot someone today for that crap. Why do all these assholes continue to be black anyway?

  • you'd be suprised how much a sanwich rapped in tinfoil looks like a gun when being held by a black person.

    jk thats aweful

  • They are being shot or beaten up for walking in public. Also, by 'They' I mean everybody at this point.

  • Man, I want to us to go in there, and crack some Ayatollah heads.... but we can't do shit. 2 wars, and a stretched military, with tons of shit at home to deal with.

Maybe if it turns into genocde, or some crazy shit, maybe we go in.

  • *throws pokeball at you*

I can't think of any damn good way of having a successful military incursion into Iran. It's fucking dangerous. =/ Like Cenk mentioned, the moment US forces step into Iranian soil or enter Iranian airspace the shit will hit the fan..........

Special forces are the only way this could possibly be a feasible way to help the Iranian people... and even then.................. =(

  • the next day: Russia and China issue a joint press statement warning the US that if they do not remove their forces, they will attack.

  • *freaks the fuck out*

  • can some one please explain very frankly why American isn't intervening. Both the excuse and the real reason

  • 1.The US intervening would cause the crackdown to get EVEN worse!

    2. The US intervening would cause the crackdown to get EVEN worse! AND would cause world war 3, due to Iran having a military defence pact with both Russia and China.

  • Because the U.S. are in no position to do so. The only way intervention can come is on an INTERNATIONAL scale.

  • That as well. However, China and Russia will still protect them.

  • The real question is whether international pressure would have any effect.

  • Because that would be a stupid idea. Ahmadinejad and Ayatollah Khamenei always point to the foreign threat of the U.S. as a reason for squashing dissent. Many Iranians, including the leaders of the protests, have begged the U.S. to stay out of it for precisely this reason. When the U.S. seems threatening, the hardliners have historically had an easier time justifying their repressive tactics. What if Syria endorsed a movement in the U.S.? Would that help the American movement?

  • How about we threaten to stop buying there oil unless or until this stops.

  • That's silly, what would happen then is that India and China would buy it instead, and your gas prices would go up.

  • Iran would not be getting as good a price for oil as everyone else. Perhaps we could convince other countries to do the same as well. between us and europe I'm sure we could drive the price of Iranian oil down by at least 25% and that's a significant hit to the Iranian gov checkbook, better than doing nothing and safer than troops and more humane than an all out embargo which will hurt the people. I think the principles at stake and human lives are worth paying a few cents more for gas.

  • Possibly, although, as they are friends already and are not known to care for human rights, China might give them a price guarantee.

I'm thinking what cenk said about the UK freezing bank assets on some of the leaders might have more effect as seen by their displacement of the US as their top enemy by the UK. However, their is not much on that regard that US might do except to coordinate efforts in that regard for the Europeans as all ties to Iran have already been cut off.

  • China is very pragmatic, I don't see why they would give them a price guarantee when they could just buy oil cheaper. I don't think Iran has much to offer China besides oil. The only bargain I could imagine Iran could strike with them would be pay more now and less later. One way or another it's costing Iran money though.

  • So is Iran supposedly, however being pragmatic certainly does not mean bowing to US interests, and China and Iran share concerns about Nato for sure.

I found this article on their relationship that should back me up (albeit a bit dated):

    washingtonpostDOTcom/wp-dyn/articles/A55414-2004Nov16DOThtml

posting links in comments is a B*@#!

  • Furthermore, I agree that an increase at the pump is a laughable sacrifice on our part!

  • so lets all calm the fuck down!

  • honestly who cares if a few students are getting beaten with sticks. people need to get out a little bit more.

people want to see true brutality go to checheneya or iraq, these two countries are the true hell hole.

sure people in iran are frustrated, but given time and a lack of interference thing will settle back down and that's what is best.

teens and students protesting isn't the best barometer for change.... it's only when the average soul seeks change, change will happen.

  • Iran is beating and killing innocent civilians, and what is 0bama doing? 0bama is griping about waterboarding a few terrorists. Fucking dipshit president.

  • I guess the Ayatollah and his many wives and sons, Are trying to beat the Pahlavi family record of Money laundering.

  • Michael- thinks that we should start seizing others property in favor of nationalization and wants to talk about dictatorships... Can you say Fascist, (They have the right man in office for it). Take just a second to fact check and Mike will see that is the first thing all despots do is nationalize.

  • This is what tyranny looks like. This is a dictatorship.

So shut the fuck up about our president.

  • Shhhh! Mark Levin is speaking.

  • right with you there bro, Obama is the sniper, you heard it here first.

  • How is anyone responsible for the crackdown besides khameini and clique?

  • Theocracy is based on the preposterous notion that old crusty clergymen are somehow uncorruptible.

If Eranians want to ensure the regime is toppled, Keep having and raising many children who share your values, Once the old guard dies off and the youth replace them, Change will come then.

  • I don't why I continue to read the comment boards on these videos. I lose a little bit more faith in humanity every time I read the racist, ignorant, militant shit that spews out of the mouths of so many of you. Disgusting.

  • We need to get Air supremacy over Iran ASAP, then we can bomb every revolutionary guards, basij, police and clerical HQs we know. And we tell the Israeli to bomb the nuclear facilities while we are at it.

  • [sarcasm]oops... sorry that we bombed your house instead of the basiij HQ, They looked so alike. Whatever, it's for your own good![/sarcasm]

On a more serious note: I hope you realize that Iran has a mutual defence treaty with Russia and China, and what attacking them would mean, right?

Also, not all clerics are in favour of what is going on right now.

  • Of all the muslims(i'm muslim) shi'ites are the ruthless/dumbest/barbaric of all the muslims

  • lol i think you meant sunni...funny comment

  • Are you serious?

according to history the shiites killed the prophet mohammeds own grandson...

they killed the third kalifa(excuse my spelling) and chopped off his wifes fingers..

the whole aspect of their beliefs is fucked up...when they go into a mosque they pray alone and not as a group...

come on now...don't compare such ignorant beings with sunni muslims..

  • most sunni's are arabs...on that ground i rest my case

  • your not too smart are you, (I rest my case??? making your self sound sooo smart,) most of the muslims in the entire world are SUNIS< shia's and other sects are less than 5% of the entire muslims population, and 5% is giving them credit.

  • Does it really matter? Islam and all other religions are stuff of the past...it had its purpose and now its time to look forward not be stuck with rules from 2000 years ago.

  • do you really think your train of thought is new as well, that it's modern, that it's the newest innovation, if Islam and all other religions are as old as 2000 years ago. Know for a fact that your religion of IGNORANCE, is even older. No disrespect.

  • No Ignorance, its the truth...i wasent rude but if the truth hurts some then so be it.

  • "Gruesome Repression in Iran"

    Please!

Has anyone seen the photo of an Iranian protester wearing Calvin Klein apparel ???

How "repressed" are these people ? Many have access to transportation, or their own vehicle, and a rock to sleep on.

Meanwhile, each day, 13 Million "Tar" babies/kids are dying of starvation and mal-nutrition out in Africa <--- that seems like real "Repression"...but who cares about Tar Babies anyway ?

  • ok so "tar babies" might have it worse.. so? it's worse dying of cancer in russia than in france,.. that doesnt mean you shouldn't try to save the french person.

  • "Tar" babies dying as BABIES and KIDS seem to be the people that need the MOST help don't they ?

Why not start at the "bottom" ? Doesn't mean a frenchy can't and won't get any help, but why not try to help those the MOST that need the most help ?

I'm all for Iranians to settle their disputes and reap Justice for all...however, let's not make it seem as if there's a full blown genocide going on...though that's what's occurring in Africa, Live, 24/7. Who cares.

    Such Hypocrisy in humanity.

  • 1. just because it isn't in the media right now doesn't mean that people don't care about it.. it's just a little tiring hearing about massacres in sudan every single day.. but people still pay a ton of money to help fix these countries.

    2. this isn't humanity it's politics. if iran overthrew it's government it would be an enormous step towards the west and the middle east putting down their barriers.½

  • overthrowing the govt is unlikely. Replacing the supreme leader with ayatollah montazeri and reforming the iranian state to something post revolutionary is way more likely.

  • Hah...montazeri? you think a revlution comes along and they pick montazeri? Not only does he not have any real power anymore, who of these portesters whant another mullah?.

If its going down, its going down, its no go between. But you must remember that what is happening now, is what happed 77, 63 etc in iran, it only lays the groundwork for whats to come.

Replacing khatami with montezari lol, did you just make that "likely" scenario up? who whants?

  • 7 point manifesto of iranian resistance includes:

point 3: "Transferring temporary supreme leadership position to Ayatollah Hussein-Ali Montazery until the formation of a committee to reevaluate and adjust Irans constitution."

    Can't seem to post link.

  • Pajamas media is crap. This is an outlet that calls Muslims evil, and has promoted war with Iran. They are trying to exploit this movement, but they don't have the Iranian protesters best interests in mind. Otherwise your comments are all correct.

  • sure, but it was the only link I had. :(

  • I got it from one of the videos that the user gr88iran had posted. specifically this one: watch?v=AdK35ZkbdIc
