If the ball was below the foul line and the help defender was below the foul line while his man was at the top key for example he was deemed illegal. Great edit my friend. MJ pulled some great moves in that series- the reverse, the super lean-in at the end - all style and hops like no other. The lefty dunk facial was a standout for me since MJ I think had a few in that series. MJ said the lefty facial was the one move he wanted to improve on and obviously, he mastered that too. Had he played the entire season, his Bulls would have beaten the Magic. And just to clarify, these are HIGHLIGHT reels. Jordan was the same if not more athletic in the '93 playoffs.
He also admitted to being a little heavy that season and it was causing tendonitis in his knees. In '97 you saw a little more attacking Jordan in the playoffs.

I can't believe that this was the series that they lost where Michael wasn't 100 per cent. I mean he had some spectacular dunks, cincluding that one over Shaq.

this was the series they won. look at his numer. it was 23. he never lost a playoff series in the 90's with his number 23. he lost with 45 the year he came back. i believe the title of this video should be 1996 instead of 1995. bulls swept the magics here.

And what a lot of people forget about that year, he led the playoffs in scoring, after a damn near 2 year layoff with only 17 or 18 games to prepare heading into to those playoffs. He averaged about 32 points those playoffs, while he averaged about 27 pts for those 17 or 18 remainding regular season games. That's better than the majority of the so called "stars" of today.

No bruh, they lost this series. This is '95. I have this series on DVD. He switched back to #23 after game 1 of this series. They lost this series 4-2. They swept them the following year..if you notice, there's no Dennis Rodman in these clips..

that's fine they lost. he hadn't been playing competitive ball for almost 2 years and they were a turnover away from doing something in this series. i'm sure this loss was the motivation for the 72-10 record the very next year and a 4-0 sweep of this team.

To think that MJ could fly through the air still, going head to head with a younger and extremely agile Anfernee Penny Hardaway, reminds me that there is and always will be only one number 23. I shall never buy into the hype of the reign of Queen James the First of Cleveland. Great stuff guys.

at the 3:59 mark he palmed the ball and slammed it in one motion,do you understand what kind of hand size is needed to do that,and the strength you have to have in your hands to palm a basketball they way jordan or dr j did,man what an advantage especially if you know how to use it

Great edit my friend. MJ pulled some great moves in that series- the reverse, the super lean-in at the end - all style and hops like no other. The lefty dunk facial was a standout for me since MJ I think had a few in that series. MJ said the lefty facial was the one move he wanted to improve on and obviously, he mastered that too. No one does both hands like he does anymore.

Damn I never thought MJ dunked on Shaq before. Why hasn't that dunk been shown that much? I always thought that Shaq was the one center that got away from MJ, but this clip proves otherwise.

For all you young'ns.."this" MJ is so good, he's dominating a young shaq & penny in their prime, at age 32, about to be 33 in just a few months & this isn't MJ at his best. From a individual standpoint, Jordan between the years of '86-'90 maybe thru '92, was otherworldly. If you missed those years, you didn't see "Air Jordan", you just caught "MJ" there's a difference. this makes me depressed cause it reminds me how they lost the series and the two years jordan took off. but it was all vindication the next year when they swept them. still i wish he hadnt retired the first time because nobody could beat them.

I never saw this series cuz i lived in germany at the time...was also a young'n so i couldn't stay up into the wee hours of the morning. I always heard this was a horrible series for him but man...watching this erased all that. Dood was dominant even after the long layoff.

MJ wouldn't have moved like that had he played the entire season. But since he only played 20-odd RS games and was coming off a 19 month layoff he was relatively fresh. He looks more athletic here than he did in the '93 playoffs and the 96-98 playoffs. Great video btw. Thx!

That's ridiculous to say Jordan wouldn't have moved like that. Watch him in the '96 and '97 playoffs. Many of the same moves and much of the same energy. Had he played the entire season, his Bulls would have beaten the Magic. And just to clarify, these are HIGHLIGHT reels. Jordan was the same if not more athletic in the '93 playoffs.

He also admitted to being a little heavy that season and it was causing tendonitis in his knees. In '97 you saw a little more attacking Jordan in the playoffs.

lol @ how he makes Nick Anderson (I think) fall at 3:14. Totally broke not just his ankles, but nearly his knee, too. Dude was lightning fast, even after 18 months off and at age 32. The move at 3:50 is also incredible.
