oh the rush of city theatre, and now a girl has come who has her AAAAAAAAAHS so nasally, awful acting it's like he had an Iron board on his back. and was reading the words of the back wall.
hmmm. vowel problems. intonation problems. acting problems. in a sense the whole thing was a problem. not a performance. well the straight acting is good. almost really good. but it's when the singing starts....
Both actors have the PERFECT tone for Archie and Neville, respectively. The actor playing Neville just needs to work a little on rounding out some words ("now" comes to mind); there's a better way to sing words such as that more gracefully.
It looks like a great production, kudos for a job well done!
I saw this live for the first time last summer and that production was a disgrace. It looks like this one was much much better, you couldn't even tell Archie was a hunchback in the one I saw. 'Lily's Eyes' is the best male duet in showtunes and one of the best out there period. I have to admit I was kinda disappointed the entire song wasn't on there, but great job from what I saw!!!
i liked it

Ooookay, that's TWO of my favourite plays you've been in. And as Crane, no less (I liked him better, to be honest). Great stuff!

These actors are to be commended for their strong vocal work.
