Mike blew his vocals out at some point... If you want another example of this, go listen to Chelsea Grin's newest album, My Damnation, and compare Alex's screams to his old Daffy-Duck-esque sounds... I don't think it ruins the album. It adds a certain degree of edge to the sound... I like it.
