  • LOVE THE SHAG PILE. WISH I WAS A FISH.

  • thank you its starting to go away now

  • wow, what are the dimensions of the tank?

  • @snowboarderrx

    It's 84"x42"

  • those huge corals make the tank look small

  • looking great

  • woowwww i would look at that all day! theres so much in there!

    very cool tank

  • hello love your marine tank can you tell me how u stop the sand going brown please thx dean

  • @dean198425

I stir the sand up once a week or so. If your setup is new, brown sand is common. In time it should go away on it's own.

  • Well done m8! Nice to see corals growing around each other the way they were meant to grow.

  • @aDogboydave

    Thank you!

  • that foxface is awesome! great tank

  • My goodness!

    That is one HUGE DERASA!

  • @sydpooh

Yes, it's really big. I think it's at maximum size now. At least I hope it is.

  • its ok i´ve seen better tanks

  • Cool tank. Find better music. ;)

  • I've seen loads of reef setups in my time. From nano fowlr to 500g reef setups and none of them come close to yours.

I can't stop watching the vid. Truly awesome setup mate well done.

  • @mgkdcx

I'm going to get a big head with all these compliments. thank you!

  • @reefkeeper2 I've seen your aqaurium online when I googled "cinder block aqaurium stands". I think that you could do a HUGE service to the hobby by doing a video showing how your system is sitting on $1.32 cinder blocks from the home depot. On an aqaurium this size, you can easily save thousands by spending less than a hundred on the stand. This is one of the best and most clever setups that I've ever seen. Good job-

  • insanely beautiful. bravo!

  • GREAT Tridacna maxima at :55!

  • @ItsARelationship

If it gets much bigger I might have to give it to the Boston Aquarium

  • Just gorgeous. Everything looks so healthy and thriving.

  • i would like to have a trigger but i have a 75g reef and i dont wanna take that chance puttin one in lol ... but real nice tank i would luv to get some of the acros you got

  • soo thats a blue throat trigger ?? and there reef safe

  • What's that yellow fish at around 0:52?

  • @SirianKings

    that's a rabbit fish

  • stunning

  • @tmlproductions

    thanks!

  • how do you do water changes for it

  • @bonerears

If you look at the video "what lies below" it shows the system I have and how the water changes are done automatically.

  • Don't the triggers harm the coral? I have a picasso - obviously more aggresive, but there's no chance of keeping coral with him. Dinner.

  • @spunkyotoole

No, bluethroats don't touch the corals. Very peaceful and intelligent.

  • @spunkyotoole

No, Blue throat triggers don't touch the coral. They are very peaceful and rather intelligent

  • @reefkeeper2 ...meaning he recognises you etc? I had a porcupine puffer that knew me from anyone else. Would eat straight out of my hand. Beautiful tank there chap, all the best in future,

  • @spunkyotoole

He seems to recognize me and follow me around the room.

  • ONE HUGE HAMMER

  • OOOOOOOOOH my goodness look at that giant clam!

  • i could never understand how some people did this. do you just stack the rock or is it epoxied togethor? doesn't the glass crack when rock is leaning on it?

  • Incredible tank, one of the best I've seen. Thanks for posting it.

  • Hay, i saw your post for tank of the month on RC. Great job!

  • Beautiful set up and really nice collection.

Can't wait till I get a big aquarium (90 gallon) at Christmas to get a more impressive display piece for my room :)

My rooms downstairs by the way just incase anyone wants to tell me the floor upstairs can't support a tank that big :)

  • what triggerfish is that?

  • @shiladitya1991

    bluethroat triggers

  • @DarkFirePServers

    It is a reef aquarium.

  • had to be made by virgins! so pure!

  • Amazing one of the best i seen yet. Your truly gifted in this hobby.I love the reef life.....I love your tank how much money have you spend.

  • @hhinojosareef1

I purposely didn't keep track because I know it's too much. I take my energy usage seriously though and always try to find ways to reduce it. I plan on switching to LEDs when I can afford it

  • I don't really know what the music is. It's just one of the choices you get when you download the vid.

  • trully stunning.. whats the song. enchanting track

  • Stunning Reef........Im Mean WOW!!

    Good Job Bud

has to be in the top 10 on youtube reef aquariums for sure

  • Truly art work here, the best tank I have seen on here as of yet...great work and good reefing to all.

  • @admirehomes

    Nice compliment, Thanks!

  • This is the best tank on youtube at the moment without a doubt! Its art man, great job...

  • damn some parts of the video i forgot it was in a aquarium

  • Beauty!!!!

  • Paul, Amazing tank and a wonderful solarium....it's time for an encore performance! I'd like to see the basement especially being the eq. geek that I am.

Thank you for sharing.....great music as well

  • Ok, I will post 2 new vids. One update and one of the sump.

  • This is beautiful, I hope I can have my tank look half as good as this one day!

  • One of the nicest tanks I seen. BRS member

  • that tank is worth 30,000 dollars as-is where I live, that's really an amazing tank. largest montipora cap ive seen too most vids dont' have colonies that well established. the size of the anenome is enormous

  • Everything has grown quite large, and space has gotten tight. I believe a home reef should have very high diversity, like a natural one. A few weeks ago the hammer coral on the front left split in two from it's own weight when I bumped it with a magnet cleaning the acrylic.

  • its one of the best home reefs Ive ever seen because of the amount of stocking per square foot. I will use this vid as a link to show people what the chips in my palmtop reefs look like when grown in a large tank great vid

    B

  • Nice mixed reef! What kind of equipment are your running?

  • I have a bubbleking 250 skimmer and a schuran calcium reactor. I also use a kalkreactor and have a dialyseas for automated water changes

  • mate great tank

  • Your tank is B-E-A-utiful!

  • If memory serves, wasn't this Tank of Month a while back on Reef Central? If not, then it should have been. Amazing!

  • Yes, it was Tank of The Month last December.

  • whats the the thing at 1:09 is it a carpet anenome? it's HUGE, if i were you i would consider removing it (if you can)

  • why would I want to do that? I have had it for almost 8 years and it hosts 8 pink skunk clowns. It and they are very happy.

  • wow 8 years!! thats awesome, i was just thinking it's pritty big for your tank already and it's only going to get bigger but it does look awesome.

  • It is safely away from the sps corals at the moment, but if it grows too much bigger I may have to re- aquascape!

  • Spectacular tank. I especially love the stripey clam at 1:50.

  • From BRS--- So beautiful --- 10 out of 10 ...

  • 0:24 .... Is that a huge colony if frogspawn? MAn your clams are huge. Cheers from BRS :)
