i feel the technical side of the music was very "paraphrased" bucchino writes very specifically with fantastic intentions and that is what makes him such a great composer. lots of the rhythms were estimated. and i don't think you thought about the imagery behind the words so much, i wanted to feel the moments too. what has happened directly previous to the song? why are you singing it? that didnt quite come through.
i did enjoy it though, i am very critical. lovely voice
"This Moment" is even harder to sin than Sondheim's "Soon" from Night Music. This young lay has gotten four stars only because she made it sound so very easy. What a remarkable perfomance-and I do mean pevformance; kipkippy didn't just get up and sing this song but peformned it and moved it forward with urgency and excitement. Today's musical theatre is demanding that the triple threat sing as well as Barbara Cook. Kippy-you've moved me.
beauitful voice!
