what year? I have 2005 model and it does great off road, in mud,snow or water....alternator is in a shitty spot on the bottom but very capable...stop by and see some of mine

some of the best 4wd are monocoque bodied, lada niva , jeep grand cherokee etc..

cant really compare the two...different class, the santa fe can hang though with them all stock.

I had this car for 2years

126hps 2.0 CRDi engine was on,

it reached over 210km/h easily in highway.

but Not much good in offroad for 2WD, mono-coque body.
