What a pretty scene, well after the first minute and a half. They're both so talented, it's a shame they've Americanized the show so much (timed for commercials, American political references, etc). Part of why we liked it was it was so different from most crappy pandering American tv, lol. Ok, I still like it (and a few scenes in Big Bang and Wedding of River Song were really lovely and intense), I just wish they let them show off their range more. Fine actors!

This wasn't an actual "deleted scene". Moff & Co. shot it later, at the end of S5, to give the DVD/BluRays some fun 'extras'. Not to say it's not an awesome little scene. Nice nod to past beauties & a nice insight into how Moff sees The Doc & why he picks up Companions. :)

Our galaxy has 100 billion stars in it. At a rate of 1 star/sec, it would take >3000 years to visit them. We know of 100 billion galaxies. Dr. Who would have to be 3000 x 3000 years old to visit all those stars one time, for one second each.

@genesis098123 I get Amy's 'final fling before the big day' theme here too. And whatever she sees in him, she loves Rory more while the Doctor sees only eight year-old Amelia Pond when he looks at her.

I just find it refreshing that the writers didn't replay the underlying theme from School Reunion. Rose was smart enough to realize that the Doctor must had other companions before her, including women. So her petty behavior was just plain annoying in that episode.
