  • Hey, how do you know when its time to transplant it to a bigger pot?

  • Thanks for trying to help others by posting an instructional video to inform others how simple it is to grow your own food at home, but I had to down-rate this video because of the hand gestures and lag from your camera.

  • you are using plastic pots?

  • My mango tree just broke thru the soil this morning. I got my seed from a store bought mango. All I did was crack the seed case open right after eating my mango, and then I soaked it in a damp paper towel inside a ziploc bag for about a week until the taproot started to grow then i placed it about 1" beneath the soil and two weeks later it has broken thru and is about 2" tall.

  • i like watching left-handed people...so awkward...

  • @jestermoua Its exactly the same, what are you referring to?

  • @Phuckyooo referring to hand gestures, movements and how they cut and or peel things

  • Thank you,

I have a queation, how long does it take in the bag to grow?

  • I don't remember how a mango seed is. I guess it's like an apricot seed. If so, one have to let it dry, then break up the outer layer and get the seed for planting.

  • @hrbear why not buying one from the market . fresh. peel the skin, eat the flesh. wash and dry the seed and leave buy the window to dry for a few days. crack the shell open use some tooth pick on three sides and soak the bottom in a glass of water( tooth picks holding it above the glass rim and inly bottom side touches the water. you,ll see the roots in 14 days or longer. plant it in good sandy soil and enjoy watching it frow in full sun.

  • I got all excited but then I realized it says Mango not Money. Gay.

  • Nice vid. I have a few cumquats I grew from seed.

Trying raspberry seeds now. LONG process !

  • i've been doing a lot of research. I infact have a few mangos, and I bought an avocado would Mango trees be suitable inside as well as outside?

  • i don't think making motions with your hands like you're cutting a mango is really the same thing as cutting a mango. Why make a video if you aren't going to actually show anything?

  • For a better Instructional video come on over to "The Mnago Plant Maker"

  • you have beatiful hands

  • how do you put the seed

  • what kind of soil do you use

how long does it take to give mangoes

  • @toughguitar1 Potting soil and 5 to 8 years=P

  • @TRYER25 how many years will it take for my mango tree to have some mangos??

  • @SuperKare123 From what I have read... 5 to 8 years. And I am sure that is in it's own climate=Z

  • @SuperKare123 normaly in perfect climate 5 to years ( from seeds not grafted). if grafted 3 to 4 years.

  • @SuperKare123 It generally will take 5 to 8 years for your mango tree to bare fruit, and about 3-4 if you graft your tree. Dont expect your mango to taste as good as the one you got the seed from, unless you graft it.

  • great video thank u very much

  • Why's everyone so harsh. If you couldn't understand how to plant one from this video, then I think you need a mental evaluation. Yes, she may not have showed the process. But she explained it well enough. It's simple: Cut open mango, remove seed to dry (I don't dry it out, but most seem to) then crack open the seed case, Place in bag with wet paper towel, then plant once roots develop. As adeprizio stated. It's not rocket science. Seed goes in soil, seed grows, plant likes fish emulsion, done.

  • For the cherry tree did you also crack open the shell to get a seed out or did you just plant the seed straight from the cherry? Thanks for the Video! Good job!

  • Can it be grown indoors?

  • @dagmar1991 yeah if you have the room and sunlight by a window

  • @toughguitar1 - Thaks, I'll give it a try!

  • good vid but my eyes hurt from watching it. Not very good quality.

  • Your loyalty to the maker is admirable, but feedback is GOLD. If you're gonna make a VIDEO of how to do something, you gotta SHOW it.....lolol........z

  • I don't know why the hate? She explained exactly what to do without all the fuss of half the videos I just watched. It's not rocket science!

  • I don't know why she made a video... she talks about what to do but shows nothing useful...

  • Details Details.......I have NO idea how to plant one from this video..........z
