The eating of bushmeat (wild animals, like gorillas and rodents) is also now a serious problem in Africa even though it has never traditionally been in an African's diet. Funny enough, when fish consumption is low, due to the inability to catch fish, bushmeat consumption is at its highest rate.
I just decided to stop eating fish, cos if we carry on, the fish stocks will collapse and fish-dependent people will be impoverished and die. Newfoundland Cod collapse was just the beginning. It is not difficult to understand what supertrawlers wil do.
