How about, instead of brush entities use models with custom gibs. A set of 9 panels with a system of teleportation or movement that moves all blocks in the direction the player wants to move, deletes the back ones and adds ones to the front using point template entities. I've certainly done it myself, and plan to make something to make up for my raging envy for the minecraft success. I havn't gotten very far... perhaps someone more creative could.

@MysteryJustin That was actually portal... On a Custom Made Map... You can tell because he has the exact portal gun from the game and he types in "Noclip" instead of clicking V to noclip. Oh and i do agree the real minecraft is better then fake Gmod OR Portal version xD

He did it using HL2 textures and it wasn't actually "fully destructable" + his lighting was... well you know...

Other versions use models instead of brushes. I was hoping to accomplish this with brushes.

I knew about Robbaz's video and map which was cute and all I just wanted to try and make a real Flatgrass Style map which lets you burrow. I think it can be done if I make it a little more shallow.
