I bought a 1979 Camaro Z/28 earlier this spring and this was the CD that was left in the player (the only one it would play, oddly enough). Well, a live CD of Fred playing his hits. I only listen to this CD because I feel the car itself was telling me to play Fred when I stomped that 30 year old vintage 350 Chevy while going down the highway. I've become a huge fan thanks to that Z/28.

Since you got that car you make like Cooler than Hell by Ray Wylie Hubbard. Some one made a video for the song thats pretty cool as well. Ray is how I stumbled across Fred here with the song alcohol and pills.

No, but he plays one in a lot of his songs - sort of a persona non grata...

He's big into irony, which is still legal in his country, and is actually a very creative and productive guy in the real world, very socially conscious (also still legal in Kanukistan).
