  • Guy: fuck yeah!

Dog: why do i feel funny and why the fuck is everyone flying?

  • The dog trusted you enough to not freak out. You can see at first he is a bit confused, but after free falling for a bit he looked calm. At the end he did kind of a "holy shit that was cool!" look to him though.

  • Looks like a Belgian Malinois and no, he had total trust in his owner! That's what I LOVE about this breed! Congrats to you both for moving things forward!

  • I wish I could have shot this video as well. I had a blast editing it together. I wish I would be able to meet the jumper and the dog also. I you ever need anything else edited for you let me know. Thank you for your service.

  • I came here because I'm thinking of taking my dog up skydiving. Go army btw.

  • That dog had fun!

  • I know dog's like to stick there heads out the window but holly shit!!! lol that was awesome, GO ARMY!!

  • i wonder if the dog was scared!

  • Awesome my man...As mentioned, it would be nice if you could get some goggles on your dog. lol Great Vid!!! Peace and blue skies...

  • The dog reminds me of my dog. But he passed away a few months ago.

He died of starvation but we fed him well and plenty. He had a disease that whenever we feed him he'll just puke it up. Its just sad typing this.

  • and this guy is a badass. Lost legs and is still kickin ass more than the average guy. Bravo to you!

  • that dog is a total badass!

  • look into doggles for your MWD!

  • Chris, I hope you don't mind that I'm sharing your videos...they are inspiring and you are a HERO!!! I can't believe how far you've come since last Feb...you look great and the videos attest to what drive and determination you have. We're proud to still have you as part of our SF family!!!

  • Pure badass...

  • Hooah! Well done, Sergeant!!

  • Idea on paper = AWESOME

Idea in real life = Sad for the dog..

  • @DeefvdBerg its not sad they threat the dog well its just a training its just like a human jumping of a plane whats the different?...

  • @DeefvdBerg Wrong!!!

  • Special Forces, Ranger, Airborne qualified....Delta insignia?

  • DOL!!!

  • are those dogs trained to sky dive with ther owner in the army ??

  • @markk5201 Yes, some dogs are trained to sky dive for missions.

  • @ForeverFalling09 thats class

  • Skydiving with the dog is fine, but you ought to look into some ear/eye protection for him.

  • Is that a German Shepard?

  • Nice Job!

  • KICK ASS!!!

  • fucking A brother.

  • I've never skydived before so i dunno but....is the wind excessively loud when falling through the air like that? That's the only thing I'd be concerned about with the dog.

  • what a beautiful dog!

and you wrote that you don´t have legs i didn´t notice that but doesn´t it hurt when you land?

  • @ticki23 AT the beginning you will see Chris (my brother) putting on the prosthetics.

  • Awesome Airborne!

  • MI?

  • @kargernlewis Go take a shower you dirty hippie. And stop crapping on peoples door steps with the rest of your lazy, worthless OWS scum.

  • Adapt and over come. Hooah!!!

  • what's the music from? sounds good!

  • @leavealoner Disturbed - Indestructible, great band

  • Wonderful! Thanks for posting.

As a dog owner/lover myself I know that when a dog is loved - the dog *wants* to be included in all activities. They get upset when they're excluded.

It's obvious the dog loves to be included in the jump. If the dog hated it, the dog would show displeasure by skulking or other negative behavior once on the ground. The dog's after jump behavior shows how much he liked it.

  • I know animals can't show their emotions like humans can but that dog looked pretty chill.

  • Is that a Belgian Malinois? Great dog.

  • @10ssomeone

Yes, I believe it is a Belgian Malinois or perhaps a German Shepherd/Malinois mix. We are fostering a Mal puppy for the Military Working Dog program at Lackland afb in San Antonio. She is incredibly alert and smart, but needs to have a job like the dog in the video. I can't see her as a house dog like our pet dog. She will begin formal training in the military at about 7 months. They are very cool dogs and most suited for the jobs they are given.!

  • @NRogers07 Yes Malinois are great dog's. It is possible to keep em as a pet, but like you say they need a lot of stimulation. Good luck with the training of your dog for the military.

  • @NRogers07 just like german shepherds. my friends has 3 of them very good dogs.

  • @kargernlewis you don't know shit, every soldier is sent to foreign countries as a last resort and to eliminate threats not innocent people

  • yaye for murdering people in foreign countries!

  • Awesome! Proud of you two!

Mom of an Army Vet Tech and a Dog handler

  • Beautiful video. As for the music, people can complain as to whether they enjoy it or not, but that doesn't alter the fact it is fitting to what's being shown.

  • lol to the non chalantness of the lightning strike

  • dog thinks, Holy crap my dad can fly!

  • Sir, you are a great American hero who's given up a lot for this country, and I salute you. But how did you get that dog to jump without shitting itself?

  • like a wolf!!!

  • thumbs up for disturbed

  • this video: 2/10

    this video on mute: 9/10

  • lol damn 2:47 that helmet can't be aerodynamic

  • This is an awesome video, Thank you for sharing! I had no idea there were dogs in special forces as well as regulars. It takes a special dog to go this far, just as it takes a special person. You are both role models for everyone. The dog is so happy to be a part of it, too. Anyone that thinks otherwise is an uneducated moron! Thanks again for sharing, caring, sacrificing and serving.

  • The bond these soldiers and their K-9 Counterparts share are unbreakable.. Especially for our wounded Soldiers.. These precious animals play such a huge part in the healing process of our wounded warriors and there is no way that any of our soldiers would intentionally put their battle buddies in harms way. Did I forget to mention that there was a k-9 member of the Seals team that took down Osama Bin Laden? To the soldier in this video. Youre amazing and from the wife of a soldier. Thank you. <3

  • This video is amazing.. Those with the negative comments below should educate themselves in the wide us of canines in the U.S Military. As of 2010 I believe there were more than 2,800 amazing dogs serving along side our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our K-9's are cherished members of our Special Forces, Delta Forces and Seal Teams. This spunky pup above isnt the first, nor will it be the last, pooch to have jumped out of a plane with their comrades.

  • This is awsome, Thankyou so much for your sacrafice and service !!! Amazing !

  • AMAZING!!! There is not better bond than that of the Dog world and mankind!! Why can't mankind be more like our best friend, the Dog!

  • Unbelievable that all some can say is "poor dog..." Idiots. The dog is having a great time, and as a military working dog, he is doing exactly what he wants to do.

  • Disturbed made this video better than it already was. :)

  • Looks like animal abuse.

  • @RelentlessInnocence Considering that is what Axe (MWD) is trained to do, it is hardly animal abuse. I know this for a fact because this soldier is my brother and Axe is treated 95% better than most people. He lives and breathes to work and please his handler.

  • The lightning bolt was gods way of saying "Fuck yeah!"

  • @monsterhunter000: I was thinking the same thing!!

  • RUH ROHH!!!! haha awesome video man

  • Awesome....post more videos..!!

  • wasnt the dog scared?

  • Great looking pal you have hope your future (present, then no doubt she already does!) wife will love you half as much as your canine companion. I miss my half Shepard and retriever, He was full of life and affection...hoo-rah troop....! Take dog & wife out of trunk of car and who is happy to see yah...yeah you guys know....lol...

  • AMAZING!!! Thank you and your beautiful dog for your service, your sacrifice and your all around bad-ass-ness!!!

  • Outstanding. Brought tears to my eyes. My LE K-9 Partner is a Malinois also. I salute you and your partner. To the critics of this video, "go away, nothing for you to see here. These are a different breed than you for which you can't understand."

  • Respect mate ;) love your Tactical Dog..! *thumbs up*

  • You're still on active duty? America is not in decline, and American exceptionalism is alive and well. Absolutely outstanding.

  • Apologies for my earlier comment. It was uncalled for. Clearly if I hadn't just woken up I would have thought a little further into it - obviously prosthetic legs, and of course he wouldn't purposely endanger his dog. Overall it's a good video. I liked it at the same time as I commented, anyway lol

  • @merishone

holy shit no one fucking cares

  • @Nirethel Strange how you took the time to say that, indicating you cared.

    Fail. L2Logic.

  • great vid great dog great soldier and also great song good choice

  • @eddy8619 except for the "Who Let the Dogs Out" in the middle. the rest was cool, tho. I have a fellow dog handler that lost his leg in Asscrackistan so I have mad props for all the guys that keep up the fight.

  • @jessedicusiv i also give mad props to my brethren out there fighting this war one of my best friends is going over this year again i wish them all the best

  • Badass background lightning at 5:38!!!

  • that dogs just like "holy shit, im alive!" at the end. lol

  • For all of you claiming this is some kind of animal abuse. THESE DOGS ARE TRAINED FOR IT!!! It is part of their job and their life. They work hand in paw with their service member and are 4-legged patriots. Good on you and your K9 friend sir. And God bless you both.

  • I wanted to call animal abuse before i saw the dogs reaction after the drop. That dog is a fucking badass!

  • You sir are an inspiration to anyone who says they want to give up or even thinks about it. Thanks for your service and continued service...and your dog is officially the most badass dog to walk the planet.

  • Rock on Brother!!!! Rangers Lead the Way!!

  • No offense, but that could have easily killed that dog...

Also.. is it me or do I see legs...? O.o

  • @merishone Only as easily as it could kill a human.

And the guy is probably wearing prosthetic legs. High end ones that the military uses are getting very good now.

  • @merishone they are trained for it

  • @merishone Take the time to watch the video from the beginning and you will see MY BROTHER putting on his legs... jeesh.

  • Beautiful! Thank you.

  • Quit your bitching. The dog is clearly relaxed, very happy and well looked after. It's obvious that he loves, adores and completely trusts his human friend. He looks like he had a great time. I think you're just upset that a dog has bigger balls than you'll ever have. <3

  • I'm pretty sure the dog peed on him at some point.

  • Poor dog, didn't get any goggles...

  • really cool, but what about some wind goggles next time for the dog

  • Whats so special? he probably does this all the time :p want to know the special part? That dog just put your dog to shame by skydiving... with 2 other people. :D

  • hahaha dude you re crazy and the dog too :)

  • Corny music. Makes sense, since it's testosterone-filled garbage.

  • @sucktackular Sadly true statement

  • God bless you and thank you for your service. LOVE the video!! :)

  • I think your dog looks even more exicited that you! AWESOME video, and even though I'm OLD I really liked the music choice!!

  • AWESOME!!!! Raeford Parachute Center ROCKS!

  • Am I the only one who saw the huge fucking lightning bolt at 5:37 ? haha

  • @Rusko887 That is so crazy! As if this video needed to be more epic.

  • wow people in the military listen to some shit music....

  • Love, love, love this :)

  • Great vid.. Thanks!

  • awesome!!!! thanks to both of you.

  • Dreadful music :(

    Nice dog :)

  • lol, my dog would piss itself if I skydived with it...

  • So much badassery I can't handle it....

  • 5:34

    Lightning! :O

  • The dog was probably like "I'm aliii.....BALL!! WHERE"S THE BALL?!"

  • I wonder if it was hard for dog to breathe. when i went skydiving i tried looking down and it was definitely hard too. It was my first time, i know better now. Congrats to you and your dog. Skydiving is the biggest rush

  • you and your dog are both BADASS!!!! quick question, when u were about to jump out was the dog shaking or whimpering? oh and btw, thanks for being a hero!

  • Look at how happy the pooch is!!

  • Awesome video....Thank you for your service brother...

  • That was really cool, I like how you included everything from getting ready to after the landing and not just the diving.

  • Awesome video man keep doing what youre doing, the one dislike must be from PETA or the Taliban. Haters!!!

  • Great Video ... Great Dog with a lot of drive. He must be a blast to train with. I can tell that he is ready for another jump.

    Thanks for your service.

  • This vid almost got shut down... Jealousy is a mo fo, and some people will do anything to try to assert themselves.... but, my PAO is all about this vid. So, I believe that this will live a long time here. Thanks for the support guys!

  • @2004vmc How long was your recovery process? And how much does it limit you? I am happy that you are alive and well. Keep up the good work.

  • @2004vmc please tell me that it was not the animal activists crying over the dog. Look at the dog people, he is happy, look at the trust he has in his handler..look at the state of the art harness keeping him attached to the handler....look at the fact that he is not muzzled during the jump. THE DOG IS WHERE HE WANTS TO BE....you can see that just looking at him.

  • Awesome wonder dog

  • and your is the best dog i have evr seen

  • and that person has not life who disliked this really cool video

  • hi im john Stephenson daughter and this is really cool and this would seem like fun even with your dog i wish i could do that but i dont have that a dog so u should talk to my dad about that

  • Didn't even realize the guy had no legs and was kinda wondering what the title was about, then I watched it again and see he's putting on his prosthetics at 0:16!

  • Thank you for your service, and I love it when a dog shows so much love for its partner! The look on his face is one of adoration, and he looked like he was having as big of a blast as yourself!!

Thank you very much for sharing. :)

  • Awesome! You and your boy are inspiring. Thank you for your service and your indestructible spirit.

  • Chris, awesome video. You inspire many with the way you live your life since your accident. Keep it up bud

  • Way cool. I'd like to have seen a zoom in on the dog's face, but he appeared pretty comfortable with the ride.

If you do that very much with the dog, probably out to get him a pair of boogie googles to keep his eyes from drying out.

  • Thanks guys! this was a total blast!

  • You freaking rock! I'm so proud that you're my big brother. Love you!

  • Airborne!

  • Awesome!
