At Real both Marcelo and Ramos can barely defend; they're all attacking fullbacks, likewise w/ Alves and Abidal at Barcelona. Spanish teams have decent CB's, but Pepe/Pique are pretty poor at that. Puyol and Carvalho are the only true World Class defenders in their respective teams.
