Was that an original Handling Package car? Doesn't look it. I see aftermarket duals, but without the 3:55 rear end, you are faster at speed than from a stop. Still fun to watch, though. I've always wanted to run my Crown Vic!
Yep, you're right. It's an LS - not HPP. Stock 2.73's. Next time I'm at the track, I'm hoping to have 3.73s and about 20-30 more horsepower.
If you get the chance to run your Vic, go for it. It was pretty cool. Especially lining up against cars like the first one in this video. haha, it felt like I was going backwards.

i raced my old 2001 grand marquis. i got it to run 17.0 but i couldn't get it to hook up too well. i didn't have a posi.
