I hadnt gone swimming but my ears hurt...I think I might have poked my ear drum with a cutip, or I have a preforation. I used to have ALOT of earaches and infections as a kid, but I havent had one since I was, like, six, and now I'm 13. I hope it isn't serious. It hurts like hell. DX It hurts the most at night, and I cant sleep because of it.

all of u guys that feel or have water in your ears caused by swimming is called swimmers ear. it could last up to 10 days or more but if its more you need to go to a doctor because im 15 and i suffered from swimmers ear. it hurts like hell but the rest of you guys that dont have it might just have ear pain it last up to 5 or 7 days hope u feel better.

Wait, wtf? theres other ways, alot of other remedies for how to deal w/ an ear infection. Including putting something warm on your ear, steam helps, and other things. Even a little/few drops or two of garlic oil (olive oil infused w/ garlic) and such.

I think Igot one because I was in my friends swimming pool for about40 min and when I pull my ear up I can hear but it's only me left ear I can't hear with that one really good

if u pull on the ear and it hurts then its an infection do u pick it alot? go to a doctor they might tell u to put a cotton ball and put vaseline on it and put it in ur ear to avoid ur ear from gettin wet espacially wen taking a shower

I took my daughter to the doctor because I thought she had an ear infection. The doctor said her ears were fine. A week later her fever never went down and then the doctor looked again and saw there was a full blown infection and there was drainage too. Maybe the doctors need better training on spotting an infection when they are small.

why use tubes when there are alternatives to ear tubs?

what are the alternatives to constant and repetitive ear infections? Even if they have gotten them and still occasionally get them, what other solutions to the ear infection are there?
