A Bizarre Collection Of Puzzles by The Enigma is no ordinary book. Abandoning the standard format of numbers 1 to 9, The Enigma has inserted a miscellany of names into the sudoku puzzles. These bizarre grids feature such topics as geography, history, popular music, politics, and sport. You won't have seen anything like this before. Also, the author (a former contestant on Fifteen To One and Countdown) has compiled 300 conundrums and numbers games from Channel Four's popular Countdown show.

For the first puzzle, I found EUCAINES (anesthetics). For the second, 75-7=68. 68*10=680. 680-4=676. 676+1+1=678. For the third puzzle, I found DENIALS (acts of denying). For the fourth, I found CARRIOLE (a covered horse-drawn cart). For the final puzzle, I found QUOTAS, ADJUST, and OUTSAT (waited longer than)

I got a different way also,
7-1=6
6x10=600
600+75=675
4-1=3
675+3=678

75-7 = 68
68 x 10 = 680
680 - (1+1) = 678

Oh, no! How did I miss "Ariel" and "Alien". I only got 4 that was "Lean."
