  • did u have this processed to black and white print or just convert it to black and white digitally?

  • Where do you get your Super 16mm film?

  • Amazing piece. What school do you go to? Iv been rejected by every film school and art school. So it looks like I'm going to have to give up on my dreams of making a film for now.

  • @Gmancrap wow that sucks! why do you keep getting rejected?

  • Grades man. I didn't get serious about school until JR year. Which is a bad thing haha. I really screwed myself over in the long run.

  • @Gmancrap Out of curiosity, are these colleges with big film accolades on their resume? Cause if it is, you should consider trying to find one of those 6-9 month schools that only teach film and nothing else. Her ein NY, they got a whole bunch of those. Was thinking about joining one myself but at this point, I think I would rather do this as a hobby than try to pursue it full time.

  • @Gmancrap you're not looking at it the right way. if you have a camera and a bit of creativity you can start making movies, learn off the internet and your own experience. giving up because you can't learn things yourself is stupid.

  • I have man haha. It's been a while since I've posted that. Still kinda harsh to accept the reality of it though.

  • Your titles need some work -- I found some issues in Final Cut Pro (if that's what you were using) Play around with the different codecs.

Check out my film, In George's Cave on my channel page. I also used a bolex :-D

  • Excellent work! You shot color neg; and apparently only let the color through for the blood. I assume some FX software was used for this. What was it? ... love the last shot and what it says!

  • 8/10 very good! i love it.. i would like a better end but in general its amazing. Congratulations!

  • cropping isn't good enough for me, but topic is interesting

  • This is good, the only problem I have is that the fading is repetitive and should only be used when changing a scene in my opinion.

  • This is very disgusting, so very effective! the sound track is very well rendered and the images very well orchastrated! great work

  • Very well lit. My attention was brought to the superb focus pulling and then at 1:00 your subjects eyes are out of focus. Anyway the piece made me think. For some reason it reminds me of 'The Big Shave'. Maybe cause its also a tone poem. Hope to emulate the quality of work here in my own productions.

  • can any one tell me what was going on in the film??

  • some really good footage until you get to the credits it unfortunate that they are pixelated. Its still a really good short and thats whats important.

is that old man your grandpa or dad?

  • pretty cool. how much did the shoot cost all together, including the equipment ?

  • good job

  • Cheers! Thank you for watching!

  • Sorry for not replying sooner. Thank you for your compliment, I am pleased you enjoyed it.

  • Very well done.

    Excellent cinematography!
