i think the argument has already started when Olajuwon did that move, it's arguably a travel, but at the end of the day, it ain't. well, personally i don't think this move should be a travel, instead the NBA should call travel on all those fast break lay-up or dunk, players don't even bother to dribble, a lot of them just take 3 steps...

this is not a travel but i guess a lotta people misunderstand why is it not a travel, it's all about the footstep and whether or not you have possession to judge if someone travels, it doesn't matter if the player has got both hands on the ball or not... it's like... u can't run without dribbling as long as you are palming the ball with one hand. get the facts right! but ye still, that's not a travel!!!! that's a sick sick dream shake!!

if you look the repetition (the camera from the top) you can see that he have taken the ball with his two hand and have made two step and stop immediately after !!

The move was very smart and beautiful but i still believe that was a travel and if it was in european match, the travel was declared.

i've been hearin a looooot of people say "nope, he traveled." in a lot of great plays done by great players. dudes, if you were in their shoes, running as fast as them, then suddenly changing directions and/or stopping in a split second, man, it's harder than you guys think. so what if they traveled? it was still a great move nonetheless. luckily for them, the refs didn't see 'em.
