I just honestly think Satyr and frost are experimentalists by nature and some projects will be less appealing than others. And... It might be interpreted wrong, but they're getting older (and/or wrong drugs are taken), so there's just a natural occurrence of deterioration taken place. Let's hail this album and never forget it though!
@ogrebattle22763 I'd have to agree actually. They took it to the next level. The album doesn't repeat itself, it's full of variations, Original riffs and bad-ass lyrics... and they made it in 1999... that's simply amazing. Probably THE most underestimated metal album out there.

I'm quite surprised that it has 15808 views only ! After listening Rebel Extravaganza , cant find anything that so fucking turn me on , well Dodheimsguard One Era Reconstructed is quite dynamical and mean but has no lyrics like SATYRICON has ! And thanks to the person who put it on !
i love satyricon cause their unique style, they can build a song from the beginning till the end, every song has it's own feeling. and this awesome nordic sound kick ass!
I love this, it sounds amazing. I like the other albums also, but this is just so much better then the other stuff i've heard :)
