Well, he is absolutely gorgeous. That's simply a fact! I think, too, that he is a great guy, but as a role model, a direct implication of his work, he should think before he acts sometimes. And the guy has a bit extreme opinions that shock! So, he can't expect to only be noticed for his work. It's a shame, really, because he loses a lot of credibility, I think. But I still think he's an incredible actor!!

one thing that strikes me about tom cruise is that he's just a cool nice guy, so who cares about his religious beliefs, the best thing a person can do is to be a decent human being, and tom seems to be just that. good for him!

Yeah, I think Scientology is weird but that doesn't mean Tom is a bad guy. It made front-page headlines when he jumped on Oprah's couch, but shortly after that he saw somebody get in a car crash on the highway, and he stopped to help them and then paid all their medical bills. Somehow, that story was a paragraph long and was towards the back of the paper. My point? The media is more interested in showing "the bad parts" for sales reasons...great sense of journalism.

@TheShockMaster Scientology is actually illegal in Germany because of the way they treat their members. Especially when they're trying to get out. I remember being told about Scientology's "evil ways" ;-) in our ethic class in 5th grade. That was back in 1987. Tom is a great actor, though. I like him!

I have never ever been lead by any professor or any teacher as much as I have been lead by this interview. Between Tom and Will both are powerful motivators as well as actors. I have a hard time believing in myself simply because I don't have anyone guiding me or helping to give direction. But everyday I watch these interviews as a constant reminder that anyone can be and do whatever they set there mind to. I don't know where or how but I know I will make it.

Besides Will & Tom, includes Russell Crowe, creator of "The Family Guy", Sylvester Stallone, Chris Rock, & Tim Allen. I also noticed they express much gratitude 4 resources they have achieved access too, & keep eye out 4 what r looking for & preparing their body/mind to receive goals they seek, note Chris Rock interview.

This is one of the best ones I've seen. Tom Cruise takes the initiative to share, teach and motivate, and genuinely wants others to succeed. In so many of these interviews the actors talk about themselves to the point of self-indulgence. I was very disappointed after seeing my idol, Meryl Streep on this series who seemed so unwilling to share any of her "secrets." Tom, esp. in the last clip, shows how generous he is, a true motivator, and these students all knew it and were grateful for it.

Cruise actually CRINGED and was uncomfortable when Lipton reflected his own lineage/family history to him; you can tell that he never really cared or thought much about where he came from. Typical of someone who has pretty much shed his past in so many ways and re-invented himself, especially with the whole Scientology thing. Shit, I'm surprised he allowed the program to show all that home movie footage of him, especially of his father since Cruise is known for hating his dad.
