I hate to say it - because I loved their older stuff - but they've really gone downhill. Their music has changed somewhat - it's not altogether bad, just not as nice as their first stuff - but their voices are really what kill it. Someone needs to give them some vocal lessons or something. Especially the girl who sings Michael's part now - is it Debbi (It doesn't look much like her)? Anyway, I hope with more practice they'll get back to where they were, because they were amazing!

It was probably more Eternal Flame because the record execs were pushing Susanna as the lead when in fact they sang pretty much equally on the records. Vicki was the real bandleader too. They had equal parts on this one. Susanna was just TOO hot basically, and it overshadowed the music. At least they are back together now (and I think they bagged the husky-voiced chick)

BUT... Eternal Flame became one of their biggest hits, around the time that everyone (including Benetar) was doing ballads, and still used a lot these days at weddings as the bride/groom song. My band used to have to sing it a LOT at weddings, and my sister (who was lead singer in our band) hates the song. Not easy for me to sing backs on it either.
