Changing my infusion set

By the way just a tip for those who may not know. Set your insulin vial out at room temperature for an hour or so before filling the resevoir. If it is cold from the refrigerator it will have lots of air bubbles in it. Then you would have an inacurate dosage. From a person with diabetes for over 26 years.

Being an adult onset T2, I don't know a lot about modern care of T1, like yours. However, see if your endocrinologist is monitoring your testosterone levels. T2 can really do a number on hormonal levels, and I've read that T1 can do the same thing to boys/young men. Hope you're well!

wow you're very precise with everthing lol! i have the smaller version of the minimed insulin pump....i hate when i accidentally hit a vein and it hurts sooo much.. well good video lol u were better than my pump counselor when she taught me how to do everything.

btw the omnipod is like...huge. i had a demo pod and put it on my arm, i hit it on everything then took it off the first day. lol.

yea, i thought the omnipod would be cool because it does everything for you and it's wireless, but the thing was just to big. plus the minimed was supposed to be the best acording to everyone. i've had it for almost 2 1/2 yrs it's good.

nice. this thing really changed my life, i had if for about a year and i don't have to worry about shots anymore. it even comes with a wireless meter so the second you test your blood it sends it to your pump so all you need to do is put in your carbs.

i have the sammee pumppp. but i hatee the inserter thing it always makes the needle kink & no delivery when i put it in so i have to redo it like a millionn timeees

aww you use the same pump and infusion sets as me. Is your pump purple too? Or maybe smoke, I can't tell. I have been t1 since I was 21, so 6 years now. I hate that damn quickserter, lol.

I use an Animas Ping, but I "get" to go through the same deal every few days. No fun, diabetes sucks. Lucky for us, Pantera doesn't!

The reason i rated it 5 stars is because my dad wurks 4 medtronic! It makes that SAME NOISE! He has had so many people come over to help them with their pump!

Nice video! A minimed, cool. =) I use to have a minimed, but I switched to a cozmo a few weeks ago actually. I love it. That spot looked like it hurt. =( But thanks for posting that!! I want to make a video of a set change with the cozmo, using the cleo 90 but I don't know how, lol. Again, great video...it shows very well what a person with diabetes goes through. :)
