At the risk of sounding like somebody who refuses to be satisfied, I would have liked a slightly different sound for these... I didn't feel that the scooping was wholly appropriate, it seemed to detract from the sincerity... I adore these pieces, and I do love Ms. Studer's voice, but I don't know that this would be the definitive interpretation.
