  • 17 and already getting it.. such bs.. lol i got it from squats....

  • Been training for years and suffering from same problem. It only started roughly 10 days ago, I had a few days off went back yesterday and sure enough got another headache right in the back of my head, at the top of my neck. Researched Internet, looks like the only solution is time off, average recovery time for this problem seems to be roughly 4 week.. Guess I'm gonna have to just lay off training for a few weeks :(

  • Fuck i just got one, this shit hurts so bad, and i need to workout!!!!

  • @drillfang25 I was using the same machine as you to!!!! wtf

  • How long should I rest? I was on my last set of burning out my biceps and got an exertion headache so bad I could barely see.

  • I feel your pain, man...

  • Lamb of God \m/

  • i was doing squat last week and i got ver very bad headack on leftside i went to see a doctor shoe told me that i have to do ct scan soon . i am having a bad headeack evry now and then . it prevent me from exercising

  • Maybe it's from this music? :P

  • I get these all the time now its really effecting my training is ther any way to stop them i tried drinking loads of water breathing propoerly anti inflametrys i even gave up smoking its just so frustrating because all i want to do is train but it just restricts me!!

  • i got this headache by doing bench press and in proper breathing...but the last rep i jus cant help but hold my breath. how long should i rest?

  • efore i could train again..but even now cant train to full extent as i aim sacred of geting them again...any info you have regarding would be very helpful! was you takeing creatine or any other supplements? and have you had them with any other exercises etc> ? many thanks mario minerve young body builder from london

  • @chunkysouth

I've had them from behind the neck wide grip chin-ups and these v-squat. From my research several things will help prevent the cause. Proper hydration, proper breathing, and maintaining a neutral position with the head (ie, no neck craining). After two weeks off I have been going all out with no ill effects. You may also consider a blood thinner like aspirin to avoid the inflamation of the blood vessels. I take creatine, beta alanine, protein. Dont hold back just train smart

  • @BLOODSWEATXXXSTEEL hi, this happened to me 4 days ago, in those two weeks off you did any type of exercise? Maybe i will just do some long walks to keep in (at least) minimum shape

  • @zoina21 No, absolutely nothing, even bending over made the pain creep back. Everyone is different so you can test yourself but just know that re-inflaming the area will set you back to the starting line again. Be careful.

  • Hey I also have the misfortune of suffering from exertions headaches so i am currently studying them to find out as much as possible so i can try not to have them again - i have had two within 5 years of training both of them triggered by squats 1st was to heavy and 2nd 2 many reps i think...after suffering the initial head pain..any exertion after that no matter how small resulted in the same pain and had to rest for like 3/4 weeks even more b
