Congress has a low approval rating, but it has been that way long before Democrats took over. If you could think for yourself, you'd notice that about half of congress is Republican too. For example, I disapprove of my Republican congressman, but I think most Democrats in congress are doing a decent job. Most Americans don't have access to information to actually know WHAT congress is doing anyway, so how can they rate all of congress? It's a bogus survey statistic used for political gains.
