If you look at the minimap, you can see Rammus fighting Janna and Gangplank fighting Annie.

My guess is that GP used Raise Morale, which gave Janna that small boost, Rammus used his Defensive Ball Curl, Janna used ult, and Rammus saw GP coming, and decided to go for the easy kill on Vayne instead. Defensive Ball Curl has 14 seconds cooldown, about 10 seconds passed from Janna ult to Rammus died.

Also the Philosopher's Stone makes perfect sense, as Rammus is a ganking jungler that doesn't spend too much time farming like Phoenix Stance Udyr.

Have you realised that BC is viable on vayne but is not optimal on other ranged ADs (except graves). Heck, Double dorans to PD vayne is fine too provided your team is tanky enough.
