BMW is much better! Audi is just for people who can't drive, and turbos are for manufacturers who can't build engines (like audi). Put a turbo on an M3 and it will OBLITERATE any shitty rs4, even with the best of tunes.
yea , audi can't built engines :)) . what do you wnow about the rs2 ? rs4 ? these cars made history . the rs2 engine was great (straight 5 2.2 ~340hp), the rs4 b5 (v6 2.7 380hp) rs4 b7 , rs6 ...
it doesn't matter how it makes the horses as long they are aqll there when you need them and the engine is reliable. i don't say that the m3 isn't a great car . it's the perfect car for track , but the rs is iven better overall ;)
I can't agree on that "it doesn't matter how it makes the horses" - It couldn't be further from the truth.ANYBODY with a turbo could make any engine reach almost any power.I know about the rs2 and esp. the ex-rs4(every 16 year-old raves about it).Now I happen to know a lot about engines.Inline 5 is naturally imbalanced, don't know why they used this weird configuration. But again they made the v5..V6 is also a stupid, unbalanced configuration. That's just for starters..It's HOW u make power. Peace.
iven the bmw started whit turbo engines ( e30 m3 ) and now , the new 3 serier 335i has a biturbo engine . maybe they realised that this is the future . more power at a smaller cubic capacity . the 5 cyl engine is silencer and smoother then the 4 cyl engine ;) atleast here in europe :)
hello again! you're not talking about the e30 m3 (that's a 2.3-2.4 high-revving 4 cyl) you must be talking about the 2002 turbo - that was used as a test bed for the 4cyl 1500hp turbo F1 engine. It's way easier to gain hp via turbocharging. Everybody is moving to supercharging & small engines because of environmental concerns. But let's not confuse that with performance. If you don't give a shit about the environment, and want max performance, high revving n/a is the only way to go.Think ferrari
you may want to google about cylinder arrangements & smoothness to understand how it affects performance. a 4 cyl can be perfectly smooth (boxer) - however a 5 cyl will never be. Which country are you from? Unfortunately I live in a shitty country, full of frustrated little boys who think they know everything about cars, there even is a national forum where everybody bitches the other over who has a longer penis. That's why I haven't commented about cars in a long time.
BMW is the best car in the space :D

at the sea level turbo in engine makes more hp but at high altitude turbo helps to keep power.
in non turbo engine at high altitude engine has no power. try audi rs4 and bmw m5 at 4000m above sea level :)
