@mootbooxle flitatron? Can I record the incoming input in the sampler and save that sample for later tweaking. I am not sure if the sampler is just a sample player or if I could record live samples. I know the app says you can input samples copy/paste and in iTunes but I really don't want to leave the app to record stuff. If you can help me out that would be cool thanks.

@freesoulvw yeah, you can record directly into the sampler in Filtatron. When you stop recording, a dialog pops up which gives you the option to either save or discard your sample. I think it's a great design...you can quickly set the start and end points of the loop, and change the playback rate (even reverse) on the fly.

Great video. I wanna get the iRig because I work with audio stuff too but as a teenager, 60 bucks for an adapter like that is alot. I would use amplitube on iPhone if I had the iRig

@keylinman The iRig is $40 by itself. The good thing about the app is that you can start out with the free version and add features (extra stompboxes, the 4-track recorder, mastering FX, etc) one at a time for a couple bucks each.

hey man great video, can you possibly route the synth through the app without an iRig, just a standard jack lead?

@wackosmacko1234 supposedly there's an adapter you can buy that has the 4-conductor jack on it (stereo output + mono input), but I've never found one. The iRig is really the best way to go! It's reasonably priced too, just under 40 bucks.

Otherwise you can use the iPhone earbuds+microphone to process sounds through Filtatron.

My dream synthesizer is still an original Minimoog Model D. I've wanted one since I was like 12, just never really had the chance to cop one. One day though! One day.

@rooftoproller Uhhh...thanks doctor. >_> It's a long story, OK...The short form is, I got sick in 2008, and was in and out of hospitals for most of that year, and all the drugs (major steroids) that I was on made me gain over 40 pounds. I'm completely healthy now, but still trying to shed that weight. Down to 180 from 200...still 20 more to go! That's one reason I disappeared from YouTube for awhile...
