@Almir1618Preldzic I'm interested in trying this substance as I understand the relation between the subjects imagination and the manifested hallucinations. So far I've only experimented with psilocybin mushrooms and allowed my brain to express itself in this very fascinating form.
Amazing what effects the brain is capable of producing. I like the way time appears to slow down while my mind reevaluates long forgotten memories and juxtaposes them with current events.
@KvalnirFox Terence McKenna was full of shit and had no clue about 5-MeO, DMT, and for your information it's about 10x stronger that straight NN-DMT. McKenna didn't have a real experience with it, so he spread false information. Be careful of "what Terence McKenna said" as half of what he said was bullshit.
@GnosticMedia I tend to keep Mckennas word pretty high value. I will investigate it further though. He said he had done both and 5-Meo several times too. Also 5-Meo has higher downtime and bodyhigh and the dose is smaller. That to me tends to indicate that it is potentially less safe than the nn-. They seem to be, despite the similar name, two completely different experiences. Anyways, i'm just rambling as I havent done either one yet.
@GnosticMedia Lol, 5MAO.. Jesus, you're ignorant people. If you want to know ANYTHING about ANY drug, plant, psychedelic, whatever the fuck, go to erowid.org. The most factual and informative site on everything drugs.
@bigknockersOO Did you have anything intelligent to say, or you're just making ad hominems? For your information, I'm a published and recognized ethnobotanist, and I'm quite well familiar with Erowid. We were discussing, specifically, the false claims made by Terence McKenna regarding 5-MeO-DMT. What the fuck does Erowid have to do with McKenna's ignorant statements? Rather than posting up red herrings and revealing your own intellectual bankruptcy, try to focus on the topic being discussed.
@GnosticMedia Congradulations, you're a recognized ethnobotanist, i can call myself a fucking astronaut over the internet. And furthermore, "So then what would you recommend as a reliable resource for information on DMT and etc..." I replied to THAT specific comment. You're the fool. You start internet arguments, that alone shows how idiotic you are. Learn to read, mr. "ethnobotanist".
@GnosticMedia for your information i'm a "recognized" ethnobotanist (woah there pal) Mckenna = recognized, You = not so much. and for your information your book has sold 12 copies. sorry man but look at your reply's to those comments, i've never known psychedelic pros to be that arrogant. its obvious theres a part of you that is quite envious of what mckenna possessed, you kinda want to be him. looking forward to your next visit on rogan's podcast, but i wont hold my breath.
@kbp581 Popularity and being recognized as an accurate researcher are two different things. McKenna is recognized by academia as a story teller, not an accurate researcher. His publications are at best about 50% accurate. He created memes. It's not that I'm envious of McKenna: more than 50% of what's online today of his audio came from my personal collection. However, understanding the facts and errors he presented is crucial. And how would you have any idea how many books I've sold?
@GnosticMedia 5-MeO is more potent because it's dose is lower. Stop talking shit though, McKenna was an expert, very reliable, plus he barely spoke about 5-MeO, as N,N-DMT was instead widely used and popularized. And you can't possibly be serious, saying stuff like "it's 10x stronger", this is not how psychedelics work, it's not a form of meaningful comparison, it's definitely not a scientific statement.
@ruffeeh Terrence McKenna believed in some bat shit crazy shit. L. Ron Hubbard level of crazy shit. He's dead and since his death more people have done better research on the subject. I thank him for his research that doesn't involve supernatural horseshit.
@JovialEe Never had such impressions. I listened to nearly all of his lectures. I don't know what it is that you're calling crazy or supernatural. Both these terms can be used to describe the nature of his knowledge, the psychedelic process that he went through, the gaining of insight and advice from the mushroom entity, but isn't that a prejudice he warned us about? He did call his own ideas weird and crazy, though in a very captious manner, to display the widespread social paranoia at the time
@KvalnirFox he was wrong... 1st off its MEO not MAO and its 5 times stronger than normal DMT.... terence mckenna was way back in the day man and while he was a legend he wasnt 100% correct on everything he said
I'm am optimist.. i think we are headed for a future that none of us can fathom. Technological advancement is good... We are built to prosper and progress. Money keeps us organized, although everyone and everything found it's loop hole. I think for the best on our planet : )
Wow, rogan explained perfectly my opinion on the psychological aspects of the obsession over topics like that. I could never explain it, whenever id try it would come out like "people like, think about it too much and stuff".
Good thoughts. I agree with Joe Rogan about Alex Jones. Its funny how much Joe is influenced by people of the past which in return are also influenced by people from their past. These great ideas are finally getting some popularity. I hope at least . Who knew a person of the fighting community would be influenced by Mckenna. lol shits great Read books peeps you might learn something useful!
"Exhausted all your other resources." That's funny b/c in my case it's true. I've done so much research for so many years now and I'm just interested in hearing other people's feelings/opinions...which I feel is just as important since we all help shape our society in some way. I'm just happy there are people out there like me who are getting their voices heard.
Gold is going up because of the destruction of the dollar. Study Austrian Free Market Economics. If you understand how the free market works, then it's inevitable that the dollare will devalue and gold will go up.
Also about ditching the "monkey body" and using the brain to connect to a hive...isn't that what the Internet is?
@playaz33 Go to my channel and listen to my interviews with Stephen Zarlenga on how gold is NOT the answer, and also read his book The Lost Science of Money. We've already covered these topics extensively on this channel. Thanks.
I started buying gold when it was at $200 / ounce, and am still buying today... I'm a fan of Joe's comedy, but I'm sure glad I don't listen to him for economic advice.
Yes, there is an element of fear driving up the price of gold, but it has nothing to do with 2012 conspiracies. It has to do with the fact that the FED is printing dollars by the trillions and devaluing the currency.
If you're saving dollars instead of hard assets, well.... good luck, I'm betting against you. :-)
first of all, you want to take advice from a standup comedian ? He jokes around about stuff and does not want to be taken seriously to the point where homeboy's words are being worshiped. give it a rest fuckos
I usually agree with Joe but in the case of bashing those who own numerous weapons and have a safe room in their home for that just in case moment is stupid. Sure, living in a way in which you do nothing but prepare for the worst, look over your shoulder, and let the thought of tragedy consume your life is a life wasted in fear but it's about balancing prepardness and fun. A safe room in your basement with survival gear is good for many things like shelter from natural disasters and intruders.
@GnosticMedia WTF? No, I'm saying having a safe place in your home to go to in case of an emergency is very good to have and those who insult having one will wish they did in the event of said emergency.
I don't think he was really bashing anyone. I've never heard Joe go on any real anti-gun rant. Anyone who's as suspicious of the powers that be as he is couldn't be anti-gun. Like the monkey brain or not, the only way to ward of jerkoff control freaks is with "loud booms".
@landon460 I love their attitude, of course its all personal opinion & they openly accept that, its all just tongue in cheek friendly chat because they're friends :)
I'm with you on never 'bashing' people who are being extra cautious because these time are as great as they are dangers. Hey, at they end of the day we still gotta stay alive!
@landon460 You get that many disasters and intruders in your area you need to have a safe room with guns and food? lol whatever helps you sleep at night man. I've met a bunch of people like you and they all live in places that it's ridiculous to be scared of home invasions or disasters of any magnitude like that
@raoulthompson It's the people with your attitude that are the ones who become victims that end up with life long regrets. It's not like I live in fear but what do you have against being prepared? I can tell you one thing, you haven't met a bunch of people like me. You don't know me from adam nor do you know where I live. What's ridiculous is people like you who think you live in a dream land and nothing can ever happen to you! Disasters happen all the time, don't be a fool!
@keggerous holy SHIT. thanks alot for ruining my life. i hadn't heard of that video. so, i thought, how bad can this be...and watched PART of it. i feel ill.
@keggerous lol...months? i still think about that daniel perl beheading video from time to time. his scream is forever lodged in my memory banks. some things you just can't unsee. oh well. my fault. curiosity is a bitch...
Only a life-long city guy would say farming is natural and is the same as hunting and gathering. Not the same!! Agriculturalists wiped out the hunter-gatherer societies.
I'd way rather have a farm than live in LA though. Hell yes.
@rotoscoop They "wiped them out" by outliving them, reproducing faster then them and by living more healthily wby having a steady reliable diet.
Anyone who actually thinks we should go back to "living off the land" is attempting to sign a death warrant for 95%+ of humanity. Go look at population density of hunter-gatherers compared to their neighbours. They aren't having less children, just less of them are surviving.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
This guy is a sick piece of shit. Heard him on other shows, trying to destroy the family unit, take one up his ass, and go along with the eugenics program of having queers destroy the population by not reproducing. The anus is for the excretion of waste products, NOT for taking a dick. Stay in California or some other celebrity worshiping waste dump like that. You belong their where faggots run San Fransico, Bohemian Grove, etc... Sick pop culture SCUM !! Bet his own daughter is a whore !
@EducatedRebellion101 You are entirely wrong and completely confused about the points he's making. And for your information, Rogan has a family is married with 3 kids. I've known him personally for 8 years, so before you spread ad hominem attacks and flat out lies all over the internet, get your facts straight.
@GnosticMedia How do you know him? I turned few months ago into a huge fan of him, I've watched all the videos theres up of him in the last couple of months. His ideas of life and humans etc are exactly mine and he presents them in such simple terms. How's he like? Tell me something about him, what kinda person he is off camera?
@EducatedRebellion101 Wow. I'd bet several tons of gold bullion that you wouldn't say that to his face. That is quite a hate filled diatribe undergirded with a barely veiled, virulently homophobic message. I also find your name quite oxymoronic as you sound more like a rapture obsessed, xenophobic, right-wing psychopath whose notion of California sounds like it some hate- filled Pat Robertson screed. I pray that Rogan doesnt guillotine that ass for what you've said regarding his daughter
He's a comedian. While there is truth in much of what he says, he's also trying to provide comedic relief. Obviously you aren't a fan. Or...you are way to passionate about the subject of gay sex? Like, I don't know, maybe you are projecting something...something deep inside you aren't willing to admit and so you become outraged when somebody discusses it.
Hey guys, here's an idea. Instead of some of us butting heads and locking horns, on what we consider value to be. and or what is a just cause. How about we try working together? I think that would be what those who should fear, fear the most.
A people that can come together, share ideas, and possible solutions. sound good?
The way I see the NWO is , Bad publicity is better than no publicity. So standing for or against them, you are feeding them your attention thus robbing yourself of the rich moment. Sure Gov.s do terrible things, they always have. We give them the power, so fighting them is really just fighting your self. Begin with inner work, the less fear you resonate in, the less power they have. The ruling elite cant control us, they just take advantage of the way we control our selves with fear.
@3AtomicJabez8 Some know how to multi task. Meaning one can be selfish and work on them, w/e that means- it;s normal- bec everyone is a work in progress continuously. The problem i have with your comment is that hiding your head in teh sand does not solve anything. Not to fear anything is good advice, if someone does, and some do. which is silly i think. but lets not ignore what ur government does, and let;s also work in partnership with government. with state initiatives.
@DecentralizedByGuilt Where in my comment did I say Hide your head in the sand. My point was, Imagine standing with something, beside it. Then imagine standing against something, beside it pushing it away. Now I advise doing neither but staying far away from this thing that isnt "helpful". Im not ignoring what my government does, but Im kinda surprised by all theses people claiming the the gov. doing something bad,,(of course they are), or that they are controlling us(standing against it is ...
@3AtomicJabez8 ...being controlled) Personally Im an Anarchistic. To me Gov. is a system of taking advantage of ignorance that is created by the Gov. much like the religions,,taking advantage by herding folks who control themselves with fear. Gov. and Religions give us plenty of faces to tack our fear to. So my head is far removed from the sand, and far removed from looking for or needing anyone but my self to lead myself or condition my life.
@3AtomicJabez8 so forget being selfish and only caring about YOU. Forget impossiable dreams of anarchy. and push for actual real viable solutions. thank you.
Joe sounds dumb here. Gold is going up just because internet radio hosts are drumming up fear???? Yeah, I'm sure all those traders on wall street buy gold because of Alex Jones.
Gold is up because people realize the dollar is shit. Keep all your money in dollars than, Joe, but I'm sure you've bought gold too.
@MoneyIsSilver 1. The value of gold is effected by supply and demand. sells do effect the price of it. That is basic commonsense.
2. Alex Jones admits not not putting his money into gold, or silver. But he does profit from people buying their over priced coins.
3. In stead of jumping ship and counting on a collapse of a government's money- which at this present time is not anywhere in the near future at all. But why not fix our dollar by having fair trade agreements?
@DecentralizedByGuilt I'm drunk and you still sound stupid. 1. sells? did you mean 'sales' in your non-coherent statement? 2. AJ does have gold and silver - I know cause I've sold him some - and Midas is far from overpriced. 3. You're an idiot.
@MoneyIsSilver 1. Sober up, and maybe you might be able to make a valid point.
2. Yeah my gramar is atrocious at times, all help is more than welcome. Thank you.
3. Here is the video where Alex Jones admits to not having much gold or silver. "I do have some gold and silver scattered around, BUT NOT THAT MUCH" -Alex Jones - Link:
@MoneyIsSilver Now that we have the rhetoric out of the way. Did you know that by having fair trade we can remove the power from the Fed central bank. create jobs and strengthen the dollar, if not. you do know now. spread it
@DecentralizedByGuilt When the actual system itself cannot be fixed as it's too far gone, then yes. It is more complicated than just making some tax changes.
@DecentralizedByGuilt The fairtax is a great idea. However, last time I checked, I was home, this is youtube, and the system IS too far gone. Any point where government leaves the bounds of the constitution means that it's too far gone. It's done this countless times.
Also, you're absolutely correct. I don't have any right to bitch. I don't vote, so I don't complain about who gets elected or not.. So I should be the same way about this.
Please pull the telephone pole out of your ass my friend
What if there was a way to have the rest of the states have them. and to have it federally ass well. Of course all initiatives must be deemed as constitutional. Which is defined by the supreme court, and it's views change as the society they live in does. I'm just saying there do exist possible solutions. One possible solutions is called: Constitutional Direct Democracy.
Guys, please don't talk about finance, quite frankly you don't have a clue. Gold is in part going up because of fear; however, it is also rising because gold is slowing heading towards currency status and central banks are becoming net buyers rather than net sellers. Also in terms of gold priced as a ratio of the S&P, it's not in a bubble. Further, retail investors don't have the pricing power to move gold prices, institutional investors, hedge funds, and central banks move prices.
@mfmezz Gold is being used for currency still today. This is true. The US rents guantanamo bay from Cuba with gold, bec our dollar is no good to them.
But gold cannot and will not replace the US dollar. We do not have enough gold to pay the current debt to foreign central banks. We cannot cover the additional 1 trillion dollar debt in trade debts each year and growing. and we dont have enough gold to cover all the fiat money out there, that doing so would reduce the value of gold by 400%
@Whyisthat101...lol... Perhaps you should watch more of his interviews because he would without a doubt decline an offer to be "president of the internet"
What about we need to get silver?? Does the same apply to silver as gold?? curious! Hope you dont think I'm an asshole Joey. LOL!! I agree we need some good erable land, fresh water etc.... But Silver has more value than fucken gold. What you think?
@charronfamilyconnect If you don't have something that I think is valuable then I wouldn't trade, I'm not parting with my last can of food for any amount of silver or gold. Something with real value in a situation like that would be: salt, clean water, food, spare parts, batteries, etc.. things you can actually use for survival will be the currency, not silver and gold.
@VertNinja I agree. On the other hand your assuming the worse case scenario where nothing would matter but the means with which to survive, and pretty much trade would be a thing of a past anyways although cooperation would still flourish. I meant buy silver to protect your buying power as the dollar is becoming slowly worthless! What you think man?
@charronfamilyconnect If I knew everything was going to collapse I would fill my garage from floor to roof with toilet rolls. Give it a couple of months and it would be more valuable than gold. After people have been wiping their butts with newspapers and junk mail for a while, they would sell their kids for some Charmin Ultra...lol.
gold actually is consistently rising in value so i disagree with JOe here!

Amazing what effects the brain is capable of producing. I like the way time appears to slow down while my mind reevaluates long forgotten memories and juxtaposes them with current events.

5 MAO is weaker than actually DMT? DMT is the real shit. 5 MAO is potentially dangerous and weaker. Thats what Terence Mckenna said.
KvalnirFox 5 months ago 9
@KvalnirFox Terence McKenna was full of shit and had no clue about 5-MeO, DMT, and for your information it's about 10x stronger that straight NN-DMT. McKenna didn't have a real experience with it, so he spread false information. Be careful of "what Terence McKenna said" as half of what he said was bullshit.
GnosticMedia 5 months ago
@GnosticMedia I tend to keep Mckennas word pretty high value. I will investigate it further though. He said he had done both and 5-Meo several times too. Also 5-Meo has higher downtime and bodyhigh and the dose is smaller. That to me tends to indicate that it is potentially less safe than the nn-. They seem to be, despite the similar name, two completely different experiences. Anyways, i'm just rambling as I havent done either one yet.

"ethnobotanist".
bigknockersOO 3 months ago
@GnosticMedia for your information i'm a "recognized" ethnobotanist (woah there pal) Mckenna = recognized, You = not so much. and for your information your book has sold 12 copies. sorry man but look at your reply's to those comments, i've never known psychedelic pros to be that arrogant. its obvious theres a part of you that is quite envious of what mckenna possessed, you kinda want to be him. looking forward to your next visit on rogan's podcast, but i wont hold my breath.
kbp581 2 months ago
@kbp581 Popularity and being recognized as an accurate researcher are two different things. McKenna is recognized by academia as a story teller, not an accurate researcher. His publications are at best about 50% accurate. He created memes. It's not that I'm envious of McKenna: more than 50% of what's online today of his audio came from my personal collection. However, understanding the facts and errors he presented is crucial. And how would you have any idea how many books I've sold?
GnosticMedia 2 months ago
@GnosticMedia 5-MeO is more potent because it's dose is lower. Stop talking shit though, McKenna was an expert, very reliable, plus he barely spoke about 5-MeO, as N,N-DMT was instead widely used and popularized. And you can't possibly be serious, saying stuff like "it's 10x stronger", this is not how psychedelics work, it's not a form of meaningful comparison, it's definitely not a scientific statement.
ruffeeh 5 months ago
@ruffeeh Terrence McKenna believed in some bat shit crazy shit. L. Ron Hubbard level of crazy shit. He's dead and since his death more people have done better research on the subject. I thank him for his research that doesn't involve supernatural horseshit.
JovialEel 4 months ago
@JovialEe Never had such impressions. I listened to nearly all of his lectures. I don't know what it is that you're calling crazy or supernatural. Both these terms can be used to describe the nature of his knowledge, the psychedelic process that he went through, the gaining of insight and advice from the mushroom entity, but isn't that a prejudice he warned us about? He did call his own ideas weird and crazy, though in a very captious manner, to display the widespread social paranoia at the time
ruffeeh 4 months ago
@KvalnirFox he was wrong... 1st off its MEO not MAO and its 5 times stronger than normal DMT.... terence mckenna was way back in the day man and while he was a legend he wasnt 100% correct on everything he said

Yes, there is an element of fear driving up the price of gold, but it has nothing to do with 2012 conspiracies. It has to do with the fact that the FED is printing dollars by the trillions and devaluing the currency.
If you're saving dollars instead of hard assets, well.... good luck, I'm betting against you. :-)

3AtomicJabez8 1 year ago
@3AtomicJabez8 Some know how to multi task. Meaning one can be selfish and work on them, w/e that means- it;s normal- bec everyone is a work in progress continuously. The problem i have with your comment is that hiding your head in teh sand does not solve anything. Not to fear anything is good advice, if someone does, and some do. which is silly i think. but lets not ignore what ur government does, and let;s also work in partnership with government. with state initiatives.
DecentralizedByGuilt 1 year ago
@DecentralizedByGuilt Where in my comment did I say Hide your head in the sand. My point was, Imagine standing with something, beside it. Then imagine standing against something, beside it pushing it away. Now I advise doing neither but staying far away from this thing that isnt "helpful". Im not ignoring what my government does, but Im kinda surprised by all theses people claiming the the gov. doing something bad,,(of course they are), or that they are controlling us(standing against it is ...
3AtomicJabez8 1 year ago
@3AtomicJabez8 ...being controlled) Personally Im an Anarchistic. To me Gov. is a system of taking advantage of ignorance that is created by the Gov. much like the religions,,taking advantage by herding folks who control themselves with fear. Gov. and Religions give us plenty of faces to tack our fear to. So my head is far removed from the sand, and far removed from looking for or needing anyone but my self to lead myself or condition my life.

@3AtomicJabez8 so forget being selfish and only caring about YOU. Forget impossiable dreams of anarchy. and push for actual real viable solutions. thank you.

bad governments prevail when good people do nothing. You are are not an anarchist. we do not have anarchy, so it is impossible for you to be one.

Gold is up because people realize the dollar is shit. Keep all your money in dollars than, Joe, but I'm sure you've bought gold too.
MoneyIsSilver 1 year ago
@MoneyIsSilver 1. The value of gold is effected by supply and demand. sells do effect the price of it. That is basic commonsense.
2. Alex Jones admits not not putting his money into gold, or silver. But he does profit from people buying their over priced coins.
3. In stead of jumping ship and counting on a collapse of a government's money- which at this present time is not anywhere in the near future at all. But why not fix our dollar by having fair trade agreements?
DecentralizedByGuilt 1 year ago
@DecentralizedByGuilt I'm drunk and you still sound stupid. 1. sells? did you mean 'sales' in your non-coherent statement? 2. AJ does have gold and silver - I know cause I've sold him some - and Midas is far from overpriced. 3. You're an idiot.

DecentralizedByGuilt 1 year ago
@DecentralizedByGuilt The fairtax is a great idea. However, last time I checked, I was home, this is youtube, and the system IS too far gone. Any point where government leaves the bounds of the constitution means that it's too far gone. It's done this countless times.
Also, you're absolutely correct. I don't have any right to bitch. I don't vote, so I don't complain about who gets elected or not.. So I should be the same way about this.
Please pull the telephone pole out of your ass my friend

@Tenche lol, good reply :)
What if you could vote on the issues?
24 states have state initiative ballots.
DecentralizedByGuilt 1 year ago
Guys, please don't talk about finance, quite frankly you don't have a clue. Gold is in part going up because of fear; however, it is also rising because gold is slowing heading towards currency status and central banks are becoming net buyers rather than net sellers. Also in terms of gold priced as a ratio of the S&P, it's not in a bubble. Further, retail investors don't have the pricing power to move gold prices, institutional investors, hedge funds, and central banks move prices.
mfmezz 1 year ago
@mfmezz Gold is being used for currency still today. This is true. The US rents guantanamo bay from Cuba with gold, bec our dollar is no good to them.
But gold cannot and will not replace the US dollar. We do not have enough gold to pay the current debt to foreign central banks. We cannot cover the additional 1 trillion dollar debt in trade debts each year and growing. and we dont have enough gold to cover all the fiat money out there, that doing so would reduce the value of gold by 400%

@VertNinja I agree.
