There is a decent music score, the graphics are easy on the eye, the character variety is impressive and the gameplay is original. As someone who enjoys games for more than just their initial appearance, I think this title has real potential.

You need to accept that people like it, don't want to listen to your archaic views and Spyro has changed to adapt to modern consoles

Spyro was the first video game I ever played and I love the original series so much! I really like this game even if its not like the original series. I don't love how they used spyros name to sell more copies but in truth this was a very good game and much more spyro like that the TLoS series! spyro is supposed to be semi up beat and this is much more true to that. I think that if your swearing and calling this game bad things you should stop watching reviews and go play the series you liked.
