The best band ever live. I heard the twice as a boy and Joe Pope, Sonny and Horace treated me like family. There will never be another group like them. They deserved greater success than they ever achieved. I miss those days.
if you can does any body know where to find the song the tangerade song-i heard it twice on the shag channel but cant find it or who sings it.let me know
One of the greatest pleasures of my younger days was the first time I saw the TAMS. There was a beautiful Southern belle by my side in Huntsville, Al '69-70
can't remember the exact year but oh do I remember the TAMS
Thanks, MrMaxxmo. This is a great format for those who appreciate these incredible artists to refresh our memories and share information. Oh yeah, and it gives us the great GIFT of hearing this magical music one more time!
I believe this is the late Joe Pope on lead... Someone correct me if this is not correct. Could have been Charles Pope, but I do know the Tams were from Atlanta, and they were THE BEST....I'm guessing they never made much money, and their talent was phenomenal.
@kalenakani Yes this was made early enough to be Joe on lead.i have been to see the Tams many times and i doubt they made money on their records ,but i'm sure they did well touring the south. They were & are loved by many....
I LOVVEEE this !!! :)
