@tealrabbit53 he does have chakra...he just can't mold it like Naruto would for his clone jutsu...it's too hard for Lee so he can't tap into it like the other ninja. So I guess...at least my theory...is that he USE chakra, but in large bursts (i.e. using the inner gates) and going on chakra overload...which is why his body wears out so fast (sadly)
