@ianhitman I agree. At this point in his career, he's got to try and secure his financial future if he can. Wrestlers aren't known for their long, healthy careers, after all. It isn't selling out to try to secure a livelihood and wellbeing for yourself. But I have no doubt that as long as WWE finds a way to use him that allows him to showcase his talents (and I hope they do,) he will put on every bit as great shows for those crowds as he ever did in the indies.

I don't think he's selling out at all, it's more like taking the next step, a promotion. Is someone a sellout for taking a manager position in a company? The WWE is the next step for almost every wrestler, it is the big one.

That being said, I don't know much about him. I primarily watch the WWE. I hope the WWE uses him well though, it looks like he might be a talented individual with a bit of charisma. (like someone else in the WWE that was in ROH previously)

If you love wrestling you'll love watching Dragon. He's a small guy but I'm sure he'll do great, you should try to watch more of his work. Danielson really is an artist in the ring and in my opinion potentially the greatest mind in the history of the business. The way he books his matches and the way he reacts to the crowd is unbelievable.

It's understandable why Danielson would sign with the big leagues due to medical finances. Of course, becoming a part of the WWE can be a double edge sword: it's likely that the promoters will misuse him to a certain degree, but at the same token, he should be a productive mainstay for the company. As a wrestling fan, I wish him nothing but the best (no pun intended).

WWE has misused a certain number of wrestlers and they still do. However, these days the word's out that they're worried about not having fresh wrestlers anymore, hence the pushes the wrestlers are getting.

JoMo, Punk, Ziggler... and last week Drew McIntyre got a really good heel introduction.

Plus AmDrag has Regal and Michaels backstage, along with Punk as aquaintance... I'm hoping all works out for his good. Also, I'd rather he work his way to the top rather than being put there.
