I used to vlog abit and really wanted to go to the gatherings but couldn't really because of travel. I could've gone to Sitc last year but it just seemed that the majority of people who were going wern't vloggers but charlieissocoollike etc fans who just wanted to meet Charlie but they wernt really a YouTube community person so everyone else there didn't interest them? might not have made sense sorry :p I really enjoyed this video btw it was reminding me of the good ole' days of YouTube!

I created my YouTube account in 2006 for subscribing to whataboutadam after I found one of his videos on the YouTube homepage. I followed you on Twitter a few weeks before I found your youtube channel. Last year was the first time I ever was at SitC and for me it was really great to meet you there.

This made me smile so much. I think this is how all us oldies feel, in fact, having changed my username from my original name which people knew me with, it exaggerated the difficulty of actually being able to communicate with people and how the community really has failed since we all first started

I fell off the youtube train long ago too. I can't believe that the gatherings I went to took place in the spring/summer of 2008. That's 3 and a half years ago! Are you sure the un-cliche one wasn't 2008 too? I thought that happened after i started going to them. I might be wrong.
